seriously. for a game to get a full score horizon needed to lose the ridiculous pseudo dialogue system which is really getting on my nerves. it should come with interesting characters (our red sonja here is not exactly an interesting or appealing character) and story. horizon plays incredibly well, but it is not the perfect score game. and what's with the downscaling of colors? performance reasons i guess.
but.. no vr? bummer.
retail and hardware are on their way out. the future is digital and also soon streaming only. we will chose our playstation brand in a corner of our tv menus. looking forward to it all.
does he get forced to say that by the dudes in kyoto? while we're at it: wonder what they are going to offer for being ambassador this time? it will be vc stuff for sure. as i'm expecting the million+ sales so far have all been zelda fans who had no problem shelling out hundreds of dollars for this game. and then what? i'm sure it thrives off the stellar third party support.
if they do strip it down to a mere abomination of the original game, sure.
i still don't get the point of these gfx comparisons. especially when xbox and ps4 are being compared. no one in their right mind will change his or her attitude towards the one or the other platform just because of how similarly a 3rd party game looks. i guess, these pointless articles are just clickbait and a reason to keep the artificial platform war going.
they are going multiplatform because they can see that they will not sell as many units as the first one did. with more platforms they seem to think they will make up for the low sales. i don't do sequels, so whatever they may think will suit them. as long as they are not complaining afterwards everybody is cool with a sequel.
it's embarrassing when bloggers got nothing to blog about and then come up with such articles..
i am ignoring the switch for the same reason i'm ignoring the xbox: no incentive to own one. ps4+pc are pretty much covering all my gaming needs. with an up-to-date online infrastructure and all. and i don't like the concept of hybrid machines. they have always been neither fish nor flesh. the same i see with the switch. and by the way, where is that ominous 3rd party support again?
nintendo is still a thing?
remember these huuuge record stores from the 80s? that's the way retail game and used game sellers are going. and it's about time these unnecessary dust collectors are disappearing.
wow.
seems like april will be a complete zero-round. nothing of interest. meh. but there are enough games out to keep the gamers busy. and i read some are even supporting lego undercover. wow. a game of this franchise was the last game i played on the wii u before i gave it away for free :P
maybe because its overly repetitive nature? not every human mind is capable of shutting off while playing a game.
i don't like how i am ignoring every cod title there is but it is still a thing.
what a pity. microsoft is the new nintendo. they can put out whatever they want. as long as they are not learning that their basic business is games that thrill gamers i call them delusional. nintendo would be great, if they acknowledged that there were industry and market standards. microsofts bone would be awesome if there was an incentive to buy it if you got ps4+pc.
it ended already. this andromeda entry was purely driven by greed. instead of quality they relied on marketing. a low effort per definition. a pure milking the dead cow release. it is beyond me why there are gamers buying this. but then again, the switch showed there are more than one million zelda players out there and they bought a very questionable piece of hardware for it. maybe we are just getting what we are screaming for. as long as people are supporting subpar stuff the state of the i...
why is this even a thing? who in their right mind thought buying this was a good idea? can't be all trophy-addicts or clueless mothers buying their spoilt kids a new videogame. why is this game getting so much coverage? just ignore it and move on. the devs will follow - with more quality entries. it's as simple as that.
handhelds are dead, dudes.
tl;dr: power of branding
