i say "finally a real review and not a bought one"
i'd like if they dropped their whole procedural approach and developped real a game that does not rely of sterile worlds, objects and stuff. procedural generated content sucks, always has, always will.
i must have been the only one who stopped playing god of war 2 after a few hours because i got the "same old, same old" feeling? and therefore ignored god of war 3. and most likely will ignore every new installment of this "always the exact same" franchise.
cool. as soon as there will be an incentive to buy a box, i am going to buy a box. but seems like a ps4pro and a highend pc makes the box superfluous like the runnings.
why will this be so stellar? it's the fourth freaking game of this franchise. when was the last time a 4th game of something was stellar? i will definitely wait for a christmas sale. i get the feeling i don't want to play "just more of the same". sorry.
comparing zelda and horizon is like comparing a volkswagen with a lamborghini. what's the point? yes, both are able to drive a road. but that's about it.
umm. no. thanks. mass effect was nice and all... but a 4th time playing the same... you know, does not feel right. there are gamers out there who like to throw money at a 4th game of something. i hope for the devs and pubs that this niche will be enough. my wallet does not feel like opening for the third sequel of something. especially after mass effect 2 and 3 were already yawnworthy. and i am not even talking bout the ending.
oh they can win. they just need to stop putting out stuff no one asked for.
ahh, finally a little more honest ratings for an average open worlder.
because a 4th game wouldn't have worked. speaking of it.. is there any reason why i as a gamer should buy mass effect "just more of the same" andromeda? i know by now the game mechanics of this franchise. i really don't see me buying the game "just because it's mass effect". i would have preferred something new. too risky? not my problem as a client.
how i dislike such headlines.. sigh. what about a more honest "the early 80 were the best time for videogames ever". i don't like how such articles want to point out how nintendo had all the clues back then. they hadn't. they were just one of the first and that is the sole reason they got away with their arrogance towards their clients aka gamers.
i can't help it but the game mechanics remind me an awful lot of this ps3 game with that human sized pig as a sidekick.. can't remember the name.
overall it feels very good to wander through a stable, glitch-free and popup-free open world. although i am really tired of open world games by now. but the technical prowess of guerilla games makes this game worth the money.
serious frustration? jeez. gamers nowadays. i too encountered this "problem". guess what i did to solve it? i poured some coffee and had a smoke. after that i could go on playing nier automata.
i got burnt with the wii (shovelware to no end, horrible implementation of their revolutionary wiggle-about controls). i got burnt with the 3ds as i fell into the crappy ambassador program). i got burnt with the wii u (no games far and wide).
regarding these incidents you and every other apologist out there needs to give me a break already. on top of these mentioned incidents stands nintendos lame excuse for an onlineservice.
nintendo does not only not ...
i don't quite believe that it could look any better than that. judging by what naughty dog accomplished and now horizon.. we pretty much got the picture what is possible on the ps4 and what not. i think they maxed it out. of course they want to sell games in the future hence this remark by guerilla.
i am not clicking this article. 5/10 with this game reeks of clicktrollbait... i just hope they do not get revenue by me posting underneath the article. i think this message section is n4g, not this site where this blogger blogged bait.
yes, but... let me give you my honest opinion here: the game is technically a masterpiece, yes. it feels good to play around in this stable and good looking world. the downside of the game - and this should influence the ratings: it gets tedious pretty quickly because the open world formula is dead. it would have been awesome if they tried to bring the genre forward. instead we got more of the same old formula. personally i quit gta5 after a few missions, ignored mafia 3 and everytime another...
of course every company can put out whatever the eff they want. as long as they don't act butthurt when no one is buying - everything is just fine.
still feel not the slightest urge to play games on the go, sorry ninty. and for a stationary home console the switch is merely a joke.
