oh please, don't remind me of this epic failure of a game. marketed as the next best thing since open world but delivered was an ultra boring and repetitive walking- and climbing- simulator. no wonder there is nowhere a sequel in sight.
oh, this is a very polite expression there. i would have chosen more drastic words to describe the state nintendo is in.
i almost bought that thing. almost. and i am so glad i could withstand the impulse of buying it just because i needed something new to play. the same goes to many other titles this generation. i am still saying we are living in dark gaming times.
i am not so sure that this mario 8 rehash will move many switch units.
thanks, but this franchise is beyond stale. this heroes spin off doesn't help to lighten the fire again.
i saw this in the psn store and at first i thought "wow, finally a 10.- game where i can spend sony's rewarded 10.- on before it expires". but then i watched the trailer for this thing and i rather let the 10 bucks expire on friday than to get into this boring production. this whole product was good idea, with bad execution. and uninspired writers.
i am not supporting online-based games especially when there is such nonsense as an arena or other pvp crap involved. i'd like to have fun in video games. i definitely don't want to deal with other human beings. the chance of cheaters who are acting "just because" is too high for me to enjoy online based pvp gaming.
by the way: the same i thought with the recent zelda release :P
i can't help but wonder... injustice 1 i wouldn't have touched with a pole. and yet there is another one? there must be buyers out there, obviously.
i am taking the xbone, microsoft and the scorpio very seriously. they just got not games, so i will not buy it. but hey, great machine from microsoft there.
where is the article about games that will blow us away in 2029? c'mon. i am disappointed, you can do much, much more articles with much, much less actual info. i know, it's an opinion article. well, that was MY opinion about opinionated articles.
am i the only who who finds discounted pre-orders a bit strange?
couldn't be bothered to play the final 3rd of the game. it got very boring towards the later game. i thought ff15 was not a very good game. not going back. not going to re download.
mario kart is a thing of the past. i feel not the slightest urge to play another mario kart. why would i? they are not doing anything to bring this formula forward. it's fun for kids who never played mario kart before and i guess this niche is big enough for nintendo. but all the others? either clouded by nostalgia or hopeless fanboys. again, i guess this niche is big enough for nintendo to call their switch a success.
they are out of touch, out of ideas and out of credibility. nostalgia is the only thing that is still selling their products... poorly.
yadda yadda.. like the dreamcast that was the superior machine of the day. or the gamecube that was superior to ps2.. and we all know how these examples turned out. so i would not rely upon the sheer power of a gadget for it to make or break. it's not the power that makes or breaks a console (with the exception of nintendo... with them we all know how important graphics are - and how ignoring your fan base can bring down your empire) it's the support they are getting or not getting.
when i was without job i hunted those trophies like mad. but with a fulltime job trophies got more and more uninteresting because a) most of them are uninspired and boring lists just copied and pasted from other games and b) when you only got 1-2 hours per day for gaming you spend your time with stuff that's worth the while: playing games to proceed the story, not to jump through all these hoops. what helped me the most to get over my trophy-addiction: watching other trophy addicts how th...
thanks. but, no. titanfall 2 also had a brand new alibi solo player campaign. it sold poorly because it was just a mee-too title who brought nothing new to the table. i already ignored sw battlefront 1, i will for sure not buy a sequel with an alibi solo campaign.
oh please stop already with their generic engine. every game plays the same, just with other licensed characters and settings.
and all that for a multiplayer focused cowboy game.. i don't get millennials.
