this is wrong on so many levels. remasters are a plague. a low-effort companies are churning out because of minimum input, maximum output.
double fine.. well, thanks.. pass. i am not fond of their style in general. it's just me. hope it will be a hit. i just can't support them. they are not telltale-bad but something feels odd about double fines' games.
you bought a 128gb sd in the hopes for nintendo to deliver. i am afraid, you are in for some disappointment. better trade in that card for a 32gb, it will not feel like you bought empty space.
continuing the mass effect games was an ill-fated idea to begin with. everyone involved is to blame.
the future of gaming is streamed without dedicated haardware. the yearly console upgrades are foreshadowing this. there is no denying this future. it's the same as it was with physical copies. they're on the decline. some diehards are fighting it for obscure reasons. but soon there will be no more retail games. only digital distribution. the next "real" console gen will be the last one with dedicated hardware.
everyone who got real systems at home is scratching their heads over the excuse of a console like the switch. except for people who liked to play zelda. ambassador program i can already see you coming.
it is nintendo: themost greedy of the manufacturers. of course they want their brand victims to pay for their VC stuff. again. i would be really surprised if people who alreafy bought vc titles in the past will get them now for free because of their account. i got no words for their audacity. except a firmly closed wallet.
i would have liked something new. last of us was cool, but i really don't feel like playing more of the same, no matter what game it is. and there is no way they are going to top the sales figures of the first one. which poses the question: why a low effort instead of thrilling us with new stuff.

the future of consoles is called streaming independently of gaming hardware. good for gamers. bad for kids who need to trade in their games to get new ones. trophies and gamerscores will be much more accurate.
not even the price. most of us are able to shell out the price. but what for? their non existing incentives (aka games) will break their neck.

i like how nintendo is not getting tired to say "we are NOT a competitor of the real console manufacturers. we are something completely else." ... this is their justification of their subpar approach. but yet, everybody and their mother is comparing them, doing ports from big console manufacturers to squeeze real games into the subpar hardware of the nintendo gadgets. either nintendo is delusional or their users. but one of these 2 parties really needs to do a reality check.
judging on my past experiences with nintendo i would say it has never been a real love affair. it was always my idea of what nintendo should be. at one point in every toxic relationship, once this realisation was made, there is no going back.
it's really no good, telling nintendo what "would be best". they don't care. they don't do market research, they don't listen do their target audience. the sooner people will accept this fact, the sooner everybody can stop supporting this out of touch company.
