in case i totally missed their point, this rigs thing was kind of an arena shooter? something i am going great lengths to avoid. i am all supportive for VR titles, but as long as they are offering anything online or arena or similar crap, my wallet stays firmly closed.
i don't like bethesda as i used to like them (up until fallout 3, everything past fallout 3 was pretty much garbage)... this new game looks to me like a pretty generic single player shooter experience. single player is good, but please,... is it too much to ask to take a little bit of a risk here in the game design? but it seems like it is not even necessary that they need to try harder judging by these biased review scores.
i don't think nintendo knows how to handle market standards.. so no, i don't think they are going to make their customers happy. on a sidenote: it is beyond me how DLC's (no matter what game) can make anyone happy. but i think when you own a switch you got to take what you can get ;-)
star citizen.. will this game ever come out or is it just vaporware with a lot of backers?
long story short: exactly no game needs another rehash
i already ignored the second game. but i wish them all the luck in the world with this game idea. maybe some devs and publishers need to learn things the hard way *shrugs*
i heard it was or will get released for the switch. poor kids. no games and when finally something comes, it's either a rehash or utter garbage.
i got pulled out repeatedly out of the immersion in horizon BECAUSE of the hair. yea they put much details into it, but i was constantly thinking "oh yea, we know it, the main chick only got this hairdo because the devs wanted to show their ability to create this mob"... didn't work for me. at all. the whole chick was uninteresting asf.
good for the ones who went to the lenghts of platinum'ing this game. i couldn't care less about the game after i finished the totally weak story. after that only nauseating collectibles left. thanks. got better things to do. while i'm at work i like to spam the forums and in my spare time i am going for more exciting things than collecting collectibles in games.
but it sounds like a boring generic shooter? why on earth would i want to play that? seriously. i am not even bothering to download it for free. so...
poor boy
as far as i'm concerned you could play as lady bug,... just reading "ww" makes me puke of boredom
to call for ports is wrong on every level of the scale. just sayin'
will the coming game be as big a borefest as the other gran turismos? somehow they always forget to include fun into their productions. nice car models are only nice for a few hours. then boredom strikes. but people don't seem to notice as long as they are seeing their favourite brand logo on a product.
NO game falls ever victim to a bad scheduling. No game ever. it is always a bad or unnecessary (as in titanfall franchise) game that does not sell or does only sell so so. A good game will ALWAYS sell. I am sick and tired of these apologist-bloggers.
ehm.. not bothering to read the article, but are you really instructing people to win to get ahead in a game that is all about winning? dude..
that's not much, given the population of north america. what were the sales figures in japan? so basically half a million users in north america have kept their switch after beating zelda.
i don't know, i don't care. i am not paying for a product that has got a "4" at the end of the title. especially not when there was a completed trilogy before. apologists can apologize all day, i am just not buying a cash grab. that's what it is. otherwise they would have started a new franchise. but then even less people would have bought it.
2.74... wow.. much, much more than i expected. subtract the zelda buyers for switch and we got the real sales number of the switch ;-)
i am afraid this E3 is going to be pretty lame. sony is dominating the games, ok, but i am not opening my wallet for sequels of any kind. and the only things i am reading what sony might present has got a 2, 3 or even 4 behind the title. no go.
from nintendo i expect exactly nothing for my target group of serious gamers.
the scorpio will be funny, because it's like the world's best rollercoaster - just without any seats for people to enjoy it.
