Reputation wise, it's already been destroyed.
Yes, the original Xbox was about the games, and keeping any MS/Windows branding (or anything that could potentially confuse consumers into thinking it was a PC) as far away from it as possible.
How times have changed.
Sounds like wishful thinking.

Over-hyped by reviewers, and a let down to players. Simple as that.
The stakes are upped this gen, and they need to trim the fat if they're going to be successful. It's as simple as that.
Or you can choose to believe there's a conspiracy. The choice is yours.
Loved Gyruss. Had it when I was 5 on my NES.
Hopefully most of the denial will wear off by late spring or mid summer, when it should become abundantly clear that the Xbone is a failure (at least in the same respect that the Wii-U is considered a failure). Don't get me wrong, I love my Wii-U, but I call a spade a spade. And in my opinion, it's abundantly clear that a greater number of gamers just don't want the Xbone.
Titanfall, while one of the biggest games that will ever have graced the Xbone, simply did n...
Not only is this a promising emulator, but it's also a permanent solution for the 3RRoD.
His hate filled tale just sounds like an xbox fanboy, who likes to complain when his system doesn't do what its supposed to.
When do you think they will catch up to Wii-U in this "marathon"?
When you really think about it, is it really impressive that Xbone sold 155k when PS4 the previous weeks were selling 155k, and with no big game releases? Especially without one of the magnitude and hype as Titanfall?
IMO, I find it to be quite under-performing all things considered (including the fact the Xbone isn't facing supply constraints). I also think that's the reason for the bundle price drop and delay for the 360 release.
I've never seen a game get so much coverage and hype. I too am surprised it didn't crack a million.
They're probably reducing wages across the board to save money. Everything usually boils down to money.
There seems to be a lot of stupid early posters in here. My question is, what exactly is stopping them from letting you share your digitally downloaded games with others right now? The fact that there's also a disc based version on the market?
Anyone believing this tripe should look up what their lending policies were. Only a fool would willingly give up more of his freedom for their candy-coated DRM BS. I'm glad most people kept their senses. And FYI, the journalists...
I give the reviewer a 1/5.
When it goes without saying, it doesn't need to be said.
Lol. I'll bet.
I'm sure they were in it to win with their other flops too, such as the zune, bing, surface, etc...
This is the same EGM that gave Titanfall a 100. I've lost all respect for them.
Nintendo: Congrats to the folks at EA for consistently releasing polished games.
