As someone who's bought the first two Xboxes (even on launch day), I'll gladly tell you what I think is bad about Xbox One.
- It's 1st party games are lacking in quantity and diversity.
- I'm tired of seeing several of the relatively few "exclusives" it has being released on other platforms (which I also happen to own).
- I abhor their stupid greedy paywall policies.
- I can't stand their refusal of cross platform play. <...
The mindless are easily lured.
China is excellent at being able to reverse engineer or copy. I suspect the Xbone will probably be hacked to play pirated games shortly after release there. Well... Assuming people buy it.
238 voters. Ok. But what I would like to know is how many of them were actually Japanese?
Pfft, it's not sub 1080p, its called having a variety of game resolutions. I feel sorry for other gamers being stuck with native res all the time.
=P
If they didn't cut corners on their $500 console, this wouldn't have been an issue. We waited almost 10 years for this system, but unfortunately it seems better suited to playing TV shows in 1080p rather than games.
Yeah it's nice not having peripherals shoved down your throat.
Potato chips on the other hand. ;)
I've heard a lot of good things about this game. As well, I saw a map comparison to other similar games and damn this game's world is huge.
I think there's a good chance that even at the $399 price-point with Kinect, it'll still see sluggish sales.
It always makes me laugh when I see people disagreeing with cold hard facts.
Yup. Just go on ignoring things like the mediocre texture filtering, pixellated foliage, and the cut-out spectator sprites.
It's amusing to see you compare the Xbone graphics to a game on a last gen system. You've proved a point, but not the one you were trying to make.
Apparently a lot of people did not see the comparison of what Forza 5 looked like at E3, compared to the what they released. But they say ignorance is bliss anyway. If you're happy with it, great.
...when he's calling for you.
Agreed. Last night at my local Walmart, I saw them replenishing stock of PS4s into the cabinet, while the same two Xbox One consoles from the previous week remained untouched. They always stock on Tuesdays and the Xboxes were in there from the day before (which means they wold have been put in no later than the previous Tuesday). However, I've gone in many times over the last several weeks, and they've always had the two since they sold the TF bundles a few weeks ago. So personally I ...
I still have my 32x and SegaCD. Pier Solar released in 2010 works with both devices.
From my perspective, he's probably getting a lot of disagrees because his comment can be interpreted in at least 2 ways:
A) He want's it for his Xbox, and is showing support for his console of choice and those opposed are disagreeing.
and
B) He's saying the Xbox NEEDS it, and fans Xbox probably disagree in the sense that they believe it already has great games.
Just a clarification to all, last gen is concluding with the Wii still having the largest worldwide install base, followed by the PS3 in second, and the Xbox 360 in third.
And let us not forget, many of us who purchased the Xbox 360 (such as myself), bought multiple units due to the 3RRoD epidemic, which I'm quite sure inflated the Xbox 360 install base numbers much higher than the typical failure rate of it's competitor's consoles.
Hope it's true, cause I'm damn excited now.
A little from column A, a little from column B.
It's diminishing returns. Also, the PS3 was quite powerful for it's time.
