The value of consumer goods is dependent on what people are willing to pay. It's struggling now at $499, and you think it's worth every penny of $820?
Bemani ftw. :D
Konami... Seriously, how did you not know these games were suppose to release today on Vita?
Edit: “Regretfully the games aren’t available on PlayStation Vita we’re afraid. If this changes however, we will let you know!”
Was that supposed to be an apology?
This is what I think will happen:
Xbone's sales will continue dropping through-out the summer.
Then in September, Xbone sales will soar with the launching in new markets. MS will post large shipped figures and try to show how much more successful Xbone is over Xbox 360. Xbox fans will rejoice that it's making a comeback.
Then in late October it slowly starts to quiet down, until November where it picks up again with Halo 2 A.E. being ...
Any copies of Custer's Revenge in there?
Heh. That's a good idea for a sale on Star Wars games.
Let's be honest, if this were an Xbone game, it would have been downgraded like Forza 5.
Not to nitpick, but I think you mean "Kinect".
How 'bout noooo.
Wah, wah. Good grief! You don't like what the article said, that's fine. But quit the over the top whining already. You make me wanna give my Xbox to my 4 year old cousin.
Not gonna lie, this game looks freaking gorgeous.
This. Pick up a high read/write speed usb 3.0 stick.
That's a big improvement. They should definitely implement this.
I think more people in general are taking a wait and see approach than ever before. Also, people are buying digitally more than ever before and are trading in less towards new games. As someone who used to own his own game store, I think it was a healthier ecosystem keeping more games in circulation, and letting those not willing to buy new, buy used and thus freeing up funds to buy more new games for those trading them in. A lot of people believe this is hurting the industry, but it seems ne...
If Nintendo holds true and keeps their killer games coming, eventually sales will have to pick up if people want their Mario Kart, Smash, Zelda, Metroid, Starfox, etc. Maybe one or two titles won't be enough, but as I said, if they keep the games coming they will sell. I know people who are waiting until their favorite franchises release, cause they don't see the point buying the system in advance and risk losing $50-$100 when price drops hit. They would rather buy at the most conveni...
It's a joke on the Xbox 360, and it's still a joke on the Xbone. What it's supposed to be good at, it falls short on. Almost every time my bro turns his on, it takes a good while to even recognize him. And voice commands?
"Xbox, go to Netflix". *Launches Twitch*.
Sorry.
Available on other "MS devices", which includes Windows...
I thought they were going to produce original programming exclusively for Xbone? Wasn't that part of it's focus on TV?
No, that isn't "truth enough". Especially when what they're saying can be easily misconstrued and appear as an attempt on their part to mislead consumers and investors into believing the system is much more successful than it actually is (how many journalists have reported this incorrectly?). They told us last quarter how many were sold to consumers, why now only tell us how many were "sold-in"?
Truth is simple, not complicated. Truth enough would ...
I believe the reason Microsoft is not forthcoming is because during their last quarter (Jan, Feb & March), the 360 actually sold more units than Xbox One (during it's first Jan, Feb & March months).
Here's what we know:
MS confirmed the Xbox One shipped 3.9 million units to retailers (3 million sold to consumers) by the end of 2013. By the end of the last quarter, MS confirmed that a total of 5.1 million have been SHIPPED. This means they only shipped ...
Wow. How are so many of you so ignorant? Sony was developing the CD addon for the SNES (actually called the PlayStation). They went back and forth with Nintendo for a while on the design, but ultimately Nintendo canceled the project because Sega's SegaCD was not commercially successful. Before cancelling it, Nintendo was in negotiations with Phillips to make the cd addon instead (albeit different than Sony's design) and terminated their agreement with Sony. This pissed off Sony, sinc...
