@ Axios2 & Georgenoob. You both crack me up. lol
I wonder if you guys really believe have the things you say.
You forgot Internet Explorer. Yup, you need an active xbl subscrition just to use Internet Explorer on the web.
Which makes me wonder, since they've already come out and said the Xbone runs Windows 8, why can't Firefox and Chrome run on it? I thought part the antitrust lawsuit MS faced resulted in users be allowed to uninstall Internet Explorer and run their own browser?
I should look into this more. Maybe even send an email to Mozilla and Google. :P...
While I can't comment on others, as someone who bought 360, PS3, Wii, Wii-U, and PS4 all at launch, I can tell you the price had nothing to do with me not buying the Xbone.
Where exactly is it still for sale at 500? Everywhere I look I see nothing but retailer discounts and bundles. Its been while since I've walked into a store and have seen a non-bundle Xbone for 500 bucks.
@angelicicediamond
To close the gap would mean the Xbone would need to continually sell a higher quantity than whatever the PS4 is selling. Otherwise, dropping the price drop may only reduce the speed at which the gap is expanding. That's not the same thing as "closing the gap".
Sega would have to be pretty stupid to release JSR/JGR exclusively on Xbone. I'm sure they learned their lesson the first time and with Shenmue II.
Destiny interests me much more than any of those two.
Some no, some yes. Depends on what type of games interest you.
IMO, I think it's better with than without. Without for me, would result in the game feeling much more linear.
The metacritic score will only be as good as the review publications it's taken from (Ex. IGN, EGM, etc.).
I much prefer the site's user scores. It's usually a lot more in line with how much I would rate the game. While it can sometimes be a little one sided (if there's only a few user reviews,) when it's in the thousands, often times it really exposes a lot of "over-rated" critic review scores.
Its a conspiracy! You have a disagree too. Quick, run back to IGN land where its safe and nobody can downvote anything you say!
I'm glad. It'll make a great system perform even better.
As an owner of both manufacturer's consoles, I can tell you that greedy paywalls and pathetic games for gold offerings don't make me feel "more love". That is, unless your idea of love involves us having to bend over...
I really don't see the point in arguing about this. If it ends up working well and makes the Xbone perform better than my PC or PS4 for multiplats, then great I'll buy one.
But unless that day comes, the only thing that will actually make me purchase that weak excuse for a next-gen console, is great exclusives. Nothing else.
I didn't care much for Halo 4, so I hope 5 is a big improvement.
Looks well polished. Can't wait!
It says 5 million shipped not sold. For some strange reason, MS is still holding out telling us how many have been sold to consumers.
I guess it really shows that contrary to popular belief, most PS4 fans couldn't care less about Xbone's games.
It's just unfortunate that there's so many insecure Xbone fanboys that feel the need to hop on a PS4 article to try and shove their under-performing console of choice down everyone's throats.
I want to experience 7 of 9 in VR.
Well said. Bubble vote up.
They just need to do the Titanfall bundle over there. Only this time, the copy of Titanfall comes bundled with a free Xbox One.
That might work. XD
