@n4rc
The issue here is that VGChartz provides made up sales figures.
If you took the time to read my previous comment above, you would see that the numbers I quoted from VGChartz are NOT their worldwide sales numbers, it's their *USA* sales numbers.
Simply put, their sales numbers have no merit and should never be used.
I need to take a minute just to comment on how pathetic VGChartz reported numbers actually are. Here's what their numbers were for the same time period:
USA Weekly (Week Ending)
April --5th - Xbox One 50812 - PS4 67463
April 12th - Xbox One 59386 - PS4 55050
April 19th - Xbox One 55756 - PS4 57261
April 26th - Xbox One 52355 - PS4 51528
May --3rd - Xbox One 50092 - PS4 48257
In total, they reported the Xbox One se...
But hurry up.
Damn it, Ubi...
*Sorry, the rest of my comment has been delayed.*
It's a good show. =)
With his attitude, it's doubtful.
The Kinect did not fail Microsoft. Microsoft failed the Kinect and stiffed many early adopters.
I'm glad I've continued to be patient. I will get One when it's priced right and has exclusives I like.
Easy there, Sauce-Kay. =P
I'm sure the extra 6 months of delay time had nothing to do with it.
IMO, what happens next is what to do when the sales gap continues to widen after the initial boost. Will they go back to their who cares "it's a marathon" mindset, or will they soon start offering another free game bundle at $399?
I can definitely see them doing a Halo 2 Anniversary Edition Bundle, probably with a Special Edition Halo console.
That would make sense only if it still looked as good on the PC. It was definitely downgraded.
Edit: Why are they saying the PS4 version is running now at 900p\60fps? I thought they just confirmed 900p\30fps?
Hell yes.
Probably because PS+ is so much more than just paid online services. Plus, their online only f2p and subscription based games aren't locked behind a paywall, like ESO will be on Xbone.
Desperate times call for desperate housewives.
Yeah, I can't wait to see what Kinect games they have lined up. =P
Hope so. =)
They can start by making XBL online multiplayer free.
Bang on! +1 bubble.
They responded to the sales, the same way they responded to the pre-orders. But feel free to take them at their word.
The question is, did they have a prenup?
