It's embarrassing that they made an over-priced 'Elite controller', which was supposed to be the 'best controller ever' (even though it had a multitude of reliability issues). But now they're releasing yet ANOTHER over-priced 'best controller ever'.
Why wasn't this the controller they released in the first place? $180 for a so-called Elite, only to be replaced 2 years later. What a sham.
Sony tried to patent the term "Let's Play" lol... didn't work.

Nintendo tried to trademark the catchphrase "It's on like Donkey Kong"

If only YUKES wasn't forced to release on a yearly schedule. If they had a chance to release one every two or three years, then WWE games would be damn good, and with less bugs and issues as well.
We're no longer in the PS1 / PS2 era where games can be quickly made within 10-12 months and remain relatively bug-free. The HD era of gaming has brought upon longer dev cycles, yet these yearly sport releases don't get the time they need to truly shine.
Wow, that clip is atrocious. 2K spends more money marketing the game, than actually funding the development of the game! How shameful.
Last year's game (partially developed by YUKES) looks way better. But this year's game (developed solely by Visual Concepts) looks comical by comparison. People who hated on YUKES in the past, enjoy your crow.
I've been playing WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role every day on my Vita, having a great time. The old AKI and YU...
YES WE WILL!
But it will be a sloppy mobile game with gatcha elements, filled with microtransactions and 'daily log in bonuses'. It won't even be a normal game, rather just a card collection game.
(*sigh*)
@RizBiz, he wrote 1800p, which is obviously higher than 1080p.
Shenmue image is used here, but isn't referenced in the article at all. Strange.
People getting excited for an EA game? In 2019? Further proof that many (not all) gamers can't learn from history. Watch the backlash once this game is released. The microtransactions will be hidden from reviewers to increase the scores, then will be added later once its ready to go on sale.
I love the light gun shooting genre, I've kept 5 CRT TVs in my home mostly because I didn't want to miss out on playing all the classic light gun shooters that aren't easily compatible on modern TVs.
But there are methods to make it work, there's a box called the 'lightgunverter' that allows you to attach a Wiimote to any classic light gun, and then you can play those games on your modern TV.
There recently was a kickstarter calle...
You should pick up a GunCon 3 with Time Crisis Razing Storm. Its a superior light gun than the PS Move attempting to mimic a light gun, and the 3 games included are a ton of fun to play!
Note that Time Crisis 4 standalone release does not support PS Move, but Time Crisis Razing Storm does support PS Move. However TC4 standalone release supports reload pedal via controller on the ground if you set it to controller port 1. TCRZ does not support this feature which is unfortunate.
House of the Dead Scarlett Dawn released in the arcades just a year ago. I would LOVE a House of the Dead Complete Collection on PS4 as well as Virtua Cop Complete Collection (part 3 was supposed to release for the Xbox but got canceled).
House of the Dead 1 and 2 HD are coming out for Switch, but no mentions of light gun support yet. However its likely to use the MARs Gun.
That's the issue with simpletons like Donnie81 and QuackShot, all they can think about is "more power". Just like Microsoft, all the tech behind Xbox One X is wasted without GOOD GAMES to play. Third party games are the worst they've ever been, infested with endless grind and microtransactions, copy-and-paste game design and mechanics, this is why we need high quality first party titles from Sony / Nintendo that are often (but not always) worth while.

Power certainly helped Xbox One X attain market share dominance. Oh wait -- that never happened.
How is Switch able to out-sell the Xbox One (S) (X) so easily with out-dated graphical power? Because that's what people actually want to own. Crazy idea!
The government can listen to everything you say on a landline... lol.
Well, only when you pick up the phone that is. Otherwise, you should be okay. Maybe...
This was exactly my thought! No one is perfect, not Kojima, and not even his games. But that said, MGS is my favorite series of all time, and yet I can still admit the flaws that MGS 4 / Peacewalker / Phantom Pain had.
But you compare the current crop of garbage on offer from Ubisoft / EA / Activison / Bethesda / Microsoft / etc. and you'll see how much more enjoyable and memorable his games are compared to those billion dollar conglomerates.
Millions are obsessed with Fortnite, why not an article about that?
Millions are obsessed with Call of Duty, why not an article about that?
There is no "cult of Kojima" unless if its a joke by his fans. The only people who believe there is a real "cult of Kojima" are the people that can't comprehend or enjoy his work, so they try their best to tear him down.
If you don't like Kojima, don't give him extra attention and write MORE artic...
Found the Stadia employee. You'll never get my money.
What? Why would you type out such drivel? Who in the world *desires* 'user-input prediction'?
Why would I want that?
Why would you want that?
Why would anyone want that?
If you're capable of doing so, think it through: The point of playing video games is to play them for yourself, not have a computer AI assume what buttons or direction I want to press and do it for me. Its impossible to assume to know what I'm doing to do before I even do it...
This is true, Kojima was originally the type of developer that made one game then moved on and only return after a long break, if ever. Metal Gear wasn't supposed to have gone on as long as it did, at least, not with him being lead writer and director. He wanted other team members to take the lead, but problems came with that.
Other team members were working on a prequel story staring The Boss during World Word II, but it never came together quite right, so they shifted...
