Your constant hate-boner for this game is much more cringe. Just give it up, millions are loving this game for good reason. I have 36 hours logged in and I'm only on Chapter 3 still, and the game only improves the more you progress.

Many games have had product placements for decades now. The most prominent genre was the extreme sports genre, skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding. Play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series and see ads for T-Mobile, Nokia, JEEP (the company, not just the vehicle type), Butterfingers, etc. Does it bother me? No. Should anyone get roasted for it? Nah.

It's been clarified that it was UK only, not USA. It may have been due to shipping delays (we don't know for sure). USA embargo is day of launch (a common tactic, nothing out of the ordinary here).
Do note that whether it gets good or bad reviews is irrelevant to a person's enjoyment. I love Death Stranding (36 hours in so far), and the bad reviews means nothing to me.

Just reload your save, its fine. I do it, when I get caught by BTs and dragged into whatever other realm, or if my cargo is destroyed. The game is VERY LONG, so I don't want to restart any mission and make it take any longer repeating the stuff over again. Save prior to any enemy encounter and reload if you feel the need to.
Just buy a replacement fan. Its easy to replace, as long as you have the torx screwdrivers. You'll also want to buy some thermal paste (MX-4 2019 edition is best) which will help your PS4 stay cooler longer.
Last month I opened up my launch PS4, completely disassembled it, cleaned it all out, and I replaced the thermal paste, and thermal pads on the RAM chips. Now the system runs quieter than ever before!
I've owned PS4 since day 1, and I just bought PS4 Pro Death Stranding Limited Edition. They're about to disappear from store shelves, and see a huge mark up on ebay, so I decided to buy one before that happens.
Since I don't live in EU, I never had an opportunity for the MGS V PS4, and I didn't want to let Kojima's second (and last) PS4 console elude me.
I'll buy a PS5 next year as well!

Great point. Death Stranding is so much more than just "walking around." You have to focus and pay attention to how you maneuver around the environments, avoid enemies, and take in the crazy landscapes.

People love to make excuses that this game would be "too hard to port on PS4" because "it was coded specifically for PS3's cell processor." Which honestly is a load of bunk. Plenty of other initially PS3-exclusive games were also "coded specifically for PS3's cell processor" such as the Uncharted and Last of Us Games, or God of War 3. Yet they ported over incredibly well onto PS4.
