Its Ubisoft, well known for not giving a crap. PS3 era games in the series were ported to PS4 / Xbox One and still remained inexcusably 30 FPS even though some of the games ran with an unlocked framerate on Xbox 360, they run at 30 FPS locked on current platforms.
If its just another grind game like the previous 2, then no version for me. If Ubisoft learns (haha!) how to make games without endless padding and filler, and go back to the early AC titles without a microtransaction store (haha!) then I'll pick up the game.
Here's what's happened since the end of Desmond's story: Jack squat nothing. Six games straight and not a damn worthwhile thing has happened in the story so far. There have been flashes of storytelling that gets dropped and forgotten.

Its a good game, but my least favorite in the mainline series. Worst controls in the series (even taking the HD port into consideration), repeatedly going back into the same areas for filler missions. Grinding equipment to 'level it up' (wut?).
The biggest problem was that it started the series obsession with grinding and acquiring crap (including human soldiers) to increase / improve other crap.

I played the game a ton even though I didn't really enjoy it. There was simply too much scavenging and filler collecting resources that bogged the game down too much. Taking out the padding and time wasting would have made the game significantly more enjoyable. The first act of the game is terrible, but I stuck with it, the second act is okay, but the third act (when you reach the snow area) is actually pretty decent.

No, its just the lack of desire to make it happen. I don't want to use the term "laziness" because game developers work hard. But if the publisher doesn't want to fund development time for it, then the devs can not do it.
Same shit with the last-gen Assassin's Creed games running at 30 FPS on PS4 / Xbox One. Why? Because the publisher sucks and believes that higher FPS doesn't matter in console gaming. :/

I never played Crysis 1, only Crysis 2 on PC with maxed out graphics, and honestly, it was basically Call of Duty with suit powers. The graphics weren't all that impressive, and the gameplay / game design were run-of-the-mill generic shooting. The storytelling was throwaway.

Tony Hawk's Proving Ground had an actual full video editor within the game back on PS3. I haven't seen any other console game with functionality to such an extent like that. PS5 could easily include this within the firmware OS and make it so that every game is compatible without having the developers take the time to program it themselves. That would be awesome.
Agreed, instead of whoring out RE franchise, they need to diversify. CAPCOM has some of the greatest franchises in all of gaming history! Instead of yearly RE games, how about adding these games in the mix instead:

PS4 is hard capped at 1080p, something Sony deliberately choose for the console. I don't know why they made that choice, but MS did not enact a hard-cap on resolution for the Xbox One S. Overall though, it doesn't matter what resolution this game runs in.
You never heard of RE Revelations 1 and 2? They're both pretty good, part 2 has split screen co-op for the campaign if you care for that. Check out the reviews! :D

I love RE5, but that's probably because I'm not hugely into horror. Once I grew up, RE has never really been a scary series for me anymore. So it didn't bother me that it wasn't non-stop frights, I loved the game, and played through it at least 5 times. Even the DLC was fun to play!
I want to go back and play it again soon.

I remember some people on N4G claiming this game as "vaporware" just last month or that Sony was scamming people by only releasing it on PS5. Hmm, where are these people now?
