Great post, don't leave N4G, we need better posters and not those willfully ignorant racist pricks like GamerDad82.
That stupid buffoon has no clue what is going on, and the fact that his response to you is only more ignorance further proves your points made about that human waste.
N4G is filled with racist republicans that enjoy seeing the world burn.

He doesn't sound silly at all.
He sounds brain dead stupid.
People defending MS's bad decisions keep mentioning that Xbox Series X first party games will have better graphics than Xbox One games.
Yeah. Okay. So? We all know that already. No one is debating the graphical capabilities of the Xbox Series X. The issue isn't one of visual fidelity, its about interactive game worlds, and the lowest common denominator hardware that dictates how the developers craft those interactive worlds. Fa...
Don't expect intelligent or thoughtful storytelling from Ubisoft. Especially when they have a short timetable to make these assembly line games. There's no time for quality, just rush some thoughtless crap onto a script and have the VA read the lines ASAP, then add it into the game, and now ship that unpolished game prior to Black Friday at all costs!
A step in the right direction, but not good enough. I don't want bullshit loot at all in these games. It adds nothing but grinding and padding, wasting time picking up crap off the ground to upgrade them. The only reason the series added loot is to sell you microtransactions for resources or unique items.
Ubisoft is using a carefully crafted marketing plan, trying to sound like the good guy here, but in reality the game design is going to be utter shit just like the previous two ...
My exact thoughts. MS burned my trust back in 2013 and still haven't earned it back yet. This idea of cross-generational games being held back with 2013 hardware (not in terms of graphics, but in terms of everything else -- which is most important) is business suicide to me.
I'll just play MS games cheaply on PC if need be at this point, and I used to be a huge OG Xbox fan. Oh well!
Saturn has lots of great games to play, just use an emulator, or buy the console itself and burn the discs, or buy an ODE. SEGA is content with just ignoring their underappreciated console. :(
Love the Saturn, own four of them! 2 US, 2 JP. Tons of great games that most don't know about.
Its a shame how stupid SEGA of US / EU / JP acted during this time period, they burned their fans and continued to abandon hardware until it they had to leave the hardware market.
If only someone with brains had run SEGA back then, they'd be in a much better position today.
Absolutely not. There's enough good games made since 1983 to keep me busy until the end of my life. Don't make assumptions about people as if we're going to "come crawling back" to play some shitty, janky, generic, shallow, forgettable, free-to-play mobile trash, PC trash, or console trash.
The boost Sonic games use nearly every button on the controller and require consistent and rapid button presses, but this moron thinks, "all you do is hold left and press jump." He clearly hasn't played Unleashed, Generations, Colors, or Forces if he made a statement that glaringly stupid.
As for Lost World, I beat it on PC, its kind of fun, but its controls were awful. I hope they never bring back that control style again.
Incorrect. Forces had 1.5 years for building the 'Hedgehog Engine 2', and 1 year for building the game itself. The game wasn't given the time it required to be as good as it could have been.
You pulled '4 years' out of a hole that you shouldn't have and do your avatar icon a disservice.
I feel the exact opposite, open world games are the worst the industry has to offer these days.
Publishers don't demand more of these types of games from the goodness of their heart, its all business decisions trying to extract as much currency from gamers as possible. They're filled with 'live service' style of features, packed with microtransactions and large swaths of boring landmass to traverse.
But if only that were the end of all the issues, n...
Its low on the list, because its a shit list. Putting the PS1 games before most of the PS2 games is laughable. Putting THUG 2 ahead of THUG 1 is ridiculous.
Straight up terrible list, filled with incorrect information. Not that I was expecting anything of value to begin with, nearly no one out there actually understands or appreciates the later excellent games in the series.
I loved AC 1, spent around 100 hours playing it. I all but 1 flag and all but 1 templar without a guide, eventually gave up on it and looked up all the locations.
Hate the new-age AC shite, I'll go back and replay the old good games, but I'm skipping all these new games with micro-trash-actions and boring, lazy game design. And no, AC 1 was far from boring, one of the most underappreciated games of last gen.
People treat Nintendo the same way they treat Apple, as blind sheep.
Nintendo didn't innovate jack squat. SEGA and Sony did it first, but Nintendo 'did it first' in the eyes of their sheep.
Same way Apple sheep believe iPhone did 4G first, which is hilarious.
Yeah, its an evolution, not a revolution. A couple of tweaks and changes, still not considered groundbreaking since both SEGA and SONY did it before Nintendo.
I do like how the Switch allows you to remove the controllers, but the JoyCons are still sub-optimal. However, the Pro Controller is really nice.
I treat my Vita as a Switch, take out the memory card, slap it into my PS TV and its the same damn thing. Once again, years before the Switch. The 'instantaneou...

Profits before all else!

SEGA did it first with the Dreamcast broadband adapter.

- All 4 Robomodo developed Tony Hawk games were trash.
- Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey were grind-filler games designed only to sell microtransactions.
- Sonic 2006 needed at least another year of development to be at least of average quality.

If the Switch is "groundbreaking" what does that mean for the PSP with component video-out, and Sega Nomad?
I like the Switch, but come on. Its just a portable console with HDMI-out, really not all that special. Sheesh.
