Indeed, here's a good example, Assassin's Creed 1 had a budget of 10 million dollars. Very reasonable. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag had a budget of 100 million dollars, within the same console generation! Even though BF was released on more systems, its still such a massive leap in production costs.
So you ask why they're making their games so big, well the reason is actually because of micro-trash-actions. Even single player games are featured with in-ga...
Just 70%? The fact that the number isn't higher is not a good sign.
Being smart means not giving them your money at all. EVER. And not wasting your lifespan playing Ubi-junk games. EVER.
Giving them less money, and wasting your lifespan on their trash games at a later date is not being smart.
At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.
They likely were active in the past, but its been over a decade and have since expired.
The industry just keeps sinking further and further. I was talking about all the terrible business practices for nearly twenty years now on message boards, and people didn't believe me, they made light of what I was saying. I told them that I was going to be proven right in the end. Well here we are, game prices are increasing, while game quality is decreasing.
Clearly unfinished games, packed with micro-trash-actions out the wazoo, season passes, battle passes, random...
Mmmmm! Feels so good never supporting Ubi-junk anymore! They've turned to trash business decisions over the past decade, and I'm so over their boring game formula at this point, I'm not missing out on anything worth a damn.
Dumb and silly story. She wasted her money for no reason.
Is it really that hard to go to Steam or GOG. She spent $240, when its currently 70% off on GOG, and only costs $4.49.
Gee, I wonder, should I spend $240 on eBay, or $4.49 on GOG? 🙄
Certainly a start! I love GR1 & 2! I have intentionally not gotten the Platinum Trophy in GR2 because I wanted something more to look forward to in the future.
Unless if there are credible rumors to GR3, I won't get my hopes up. I know about the upcoming GR CG movie, but I don't believe that would be enough for Sony to be motivated to fund another GR, I would love to be wrong, though!
Ape Escape 4 would be incredible. The problem is that the ...
This wouldn't work for games published by a big company, of course. But it could work for smaller indie game projects that have a very low cost, such as a $5 game made by 3 people, and you can choose to tip them an extra $3 - $5 as a sign of appreciation.
However, this would be a disgusting practice if it was allowed for games published by Ubisoft, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, EA, Namco, Capcom, S-E, Sega, etc.
I'd like to see more streamlined games and focused more on fun, like during the PS1, PS2, PSP eras of gaming. I don't need to see an endless amount of sports, slashing, or shooting games. There are so many possibilities in gaming, but those 3 types of games covers over 90% of what's released on PlayStation these days. The variety we used to have is long gone. BRING IT BACK!
This is one of the reasons why I've been focusing more on older games from PS3 & X360 all the way back to the NES.
Rarely can a modern big budget game garner my attention, because its just the same stale concept over and over again. Open world, busy work, grinding, where your job is literally to be a trash collector (constantly picking up endless resources off the ground), the entire industry has been copying Ubi-junk, and I'm just not interested.
Add i...
More like Boobs of Destiny.
Yes, but also no.
The game's main flaw is that it can be too hard. Every mission can be beaten if you try enough times, except for the final mission!
The final mission is one of the worst missions in Gaming history! It is insanely stupidly hard and cheap.
I never beat it when I owned the disc, and I recently relayed it again on my Vita, and the only way I was able to beat the final mission was with using a couple of save states.

This was me 9 years ago, when I realized all they wanted to make were filler boring games that are packed with micro-trash-actions.
Snooze! Moving on from Ubi-junk!
He is one of the long running trolls of this site, he never says anything positive. Every single one of his posts are either incorrect or flat out stupid. Pay him no mind.
What kind of silly, pointless question is that?
They're too greedy to stop and the people that purchase their software are too stupid to stop.
I would have been interested if it had territory mode like Splatoon does, where you paint (or in this case foam up) the arena to see who wins.
Without that, making it just a team death match game, and no story campaign I just don't care. The concept had potential, but it simply wasn't what I wanted.
I'm not big into sim racing, but I got sucked into the hype for this one from magazines back then. I just played arcade mode and that was enough for me to feel like I got my money's worth.
Yeah, it's definitely worth playing today. GT 2 has a few interesting fan made graphical mods when played on an emulator as well.
Kirby is always ignored or forgotten by people, so good to see it mentioned here.
Play Kirby Canvas Curse on DS, and then play Rainbow Curse on Wii U, they're really fun and unique 'platformers' without any actual jumping.
