Maybe it looks that way to the writer because the quality of the series increased with each new installment, but I think the first one was stellar and set the base for the others. You could say the same thing with God of War.

And to say that Scorpio is much more than the Pro is like saying the PS4 is much more powerful than X1, same ratio, I'll go with only "more powerful" if the specs are right.

The very first version was pricier than PS4 because of a mandatory hardware not much people wanted, and was also bulkier while having less power. And that's with all the always connected bs they removed before launch.

Same old thing, 3rd party games are not selling that well on Nintendo consoles, and even if they do port the game, they have to dumb the graphics way down which is part why these games are not selling. Circle.

It's high, we're mid-gen and and it has lower specs than the X1. Sure it's portable but then it sounds the performances get even lower in that mode. It will get 3rd party support but for 3-max 4 years. So I guess it's yet again a Ninty console for Ninty lovers, not bad as long as you know what you're getting into. I can't see people going to Switch from X1 or PS4.
The thing is you won't get clicks if you score a great game at 80-90 so dumbass sites are being attention whores by scoring them 20-30. There are also fake sarcastic bash articles which are pretty new and account into the rating, and also the fact that games hit 90 or 20, many sites don't really go in the grey area and score an okay/good game 70.

Actually, Sony makes a few bucks out of every X1 sold because of its usage of the blu-ray tech.
That makes sense, that means more PS+ subscribers and new buyers for softwares. They easily can eat 20-25$ to gain a bunch of new customers.
