I'll grab it later but just like Hidden Agenda, it will mostly go under the radar. Even if it doesn't sell, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Knack 3 be a launch title on the PS5 and be a smash hit. I think Knack 2 has been created to keep the series alive and bring it back to PS5. Whatever PS5 will be sold on, Knack can do it, VR, graphics, name it. And even then it wouldn't be a tech demo game, because its mechanic is like no other and the characters are actually cool. And ma...
This is a marketing rumor, I mean from one store alone in my area I could buy 20+ Switch if I wanted to. They did the same with the Wii U and days after launch there were still like 30 boxes stacked at my Best Buy.
It's been my most anticipated for a while now, can't wait!
On the other hand, gaming journalists are kind of shit to begin with.
I loved the game but it would have gained by being a bit out there, by killing either Sam or Sully, or even Nate and then have some kind of the same final where we find out that Elena was pregnant that the past of Cassie's dad has been hidden all these years and she finds out when she's a teenager.
I think the term bullshot is too freely used. Games that gets visually downgraded may only be because they added enemies, buildings, mechanics and whatnot hence the need to downgrade the visuals whereas Nintendo shows acceptable visuals at first and add polishing if resources are available when enemies, buildings, mechanics, etc.. are done. It's the very same finish line, only in one people think they got screwed and in the other one people think they've been given additional effort. ...
I don't really about their remasters but I would be up for Dead Space and Resistance reboots. In both cases, please have a plan and not build the story solely as they go like they did the first time. That's where you see video games are still a young media, real nice trilogies that make sense throughout are rare.
Changing the recipe will trigger criticism for sure. Sometimes it's understandable like Shadow Fall where many would have wanted a proper Killzone 4, but in this case I can't wait for more than a hack and slash.
Dead Space is the one to me. 1 was so damn awesome, 2 was a small step backward because it lost some of the scare factor and 3 was sort of a reboot, Clarke was still there the gun thing was out of space, scare was gone, loner feeling was gone. I'm mean, it could have been a Dead Space dance game ala Kinect Star Wars and disappointment would not have been bigger.
It was but much like 1886, I fully understood the criticism. The character were weird looking and the presentation of many features were meh. And much like 1886, many of us saw the potential of being great with a sequel and now this one is getting it.
And they should also step away from bullet time, it's getting old, we're not in a Micheal Bay movie.
Core gamers stay, it's not like these Wii gamers who wanted to be cool and also thought this would count as excercise, but then abandoned their console until Switch is now the new rare and cool stuff to have.
I think they need to :
-Fill us in with what happened between part I & II, I think we'll pass 2-3 chapters in there and will culminate in Joel's death to the Fireflies' hand
-Give us a sense of how the world has changed in general, because this plays a big part of why the game is so cool, we had the army in the first one, David's gang, Joel's brother's community, the Fireflies and how they all aimed at surviving in that fungus people infested worl...
Disney has full rights of TV, comics and video games, it's not like they had nothing to work with. Hey, both companies had the movie rights to Quicksilver and I'll take Fox's any day of the week.
@KwietStorm
Hhhmm, almost the only reason there's a MCU is because of Fox. Prior to the first X-Men, comic book movies were a joke. Did they have a few misses? Sure. But let's not act like all MCU movies are awesome.
Can't wait for the N64 Classic edition with 10 games on it!!
I can't really remember ever seeing that, that's cool. I'm sure it's been done.
That's Ninty playing the shortage game, but still, most of the store I've been to have some.
That Design one made me laugh, I love my PS4 Pro, but yeah, it's not a looker. But saying the XBX is sleeker, I mean, it's like Paul Giamatti calling himself more beautiful than Steve Buscemi...
I wouldn't go as far as you, but I played it like 2 hours at my nephew's and it's far from a masterpiece. What it is going for is great but overall it's pretty simple. It's like a very ambitious indie title.
By today's standards, it's cute.
