TLoU was all about curveballs.
I really thought Joel had died and it was solo Ellie now and I was like, not sure it will be as enjoyable, and it was. And then it was the team back on, only to be broken again.
I would totally see 3-4 chapters with a new crew and they come across an 20 something Ellie and older Joel and we're back with the old crew, or old and new have the same goal, they make a plan where they're both involved and we switch back and fo...
It might have been but It didn't strike. Heavy Rain was pretty nice visually already.
Let's see what the upgrade will be from the PS3 games to that new PS4 one and how much it can affect the game with all the visual part of the emotion the actors will be able to pass to their digital characters.
I'll finish AK this weekend, so I'm not sure what the outcomes are possible in that universe, but I think it will be something related. If even Rocksteady wouldn't try at Superman, WB shouldn't bother thinking about it.
I don't know, the Kinect less began selling more than a year ago. At this point, we've had the Kinect less option for more time than the forced bundle only.
I'm curious about the percentage of XBone gamers that have the Kinect.
I have not played the game yet so I wouldn't be able to tell if the reviewer is right, but one thing is for sure gaming critics love to bash movie tied games, and movie critics love to bash video games inspired movies (though they might be right so far).
In both cases, you can sense their joy when one's coming out, they empty their hate jar in the form of an article. 6s become 3s, 4s become 1s.
They're in the same boat, Apple and Nintendo both ride a ridiculous reputation of great products. People so easily mix gimmicks with evolution it's not even funny...Yeah, I can unlock my phone by spitting on the screen and it recognizes my saliva, amazing!! :S
It's gimmicky at best. For 100$ on top of the regular 1tb XBone console, you get a better load time for games, a slightly better controller and don't get any game.
The pluses are not that good, it doesn't really change your gaming experience.
It's like buying a car with 15 more HP and a really comfortable driving wheel for an added 5000$. Sounds cool, but not worth it.
Such an awesome game (and I've never played a Souls' game), I really hope black Friday and the holidays will bump its sales.
It might be indie-ish, but I would love a sequel to 3D Dot Game Heroes more than anything.
Games are always fun, no matter what.
I think in that sentence, it's about brainless, really easy and aimed to be fun kind of fun. For example, Bloodborne would not qualify as fun because you're always on edge, relax one second and you might be dead, and you'll die and retry a bunch of times. But deep down it's really fun and fulfilling. Whereas Mario games are instantly fun but so easy that you don't get that sense of achievement kind of fun.
Or the guy sold his PS3 to buy a PS4, did not clean his PS3 before selling it and his account is auto logging in. Pretty simple...Same goes with people getting charge on their credit cards.
Catch-up is a b####, isn't it Ninty?
"Guys with 3 bubbles are calling me a Fanboy.
Pro gamers use Xbox controllers.
PC gamers use Xbox controllers.
Every third party manufactured controller looks like an Xbox Controller knock-off.
If Playstation controllers were better the majority would be using playstation controllers."
Sure, and Aqua's Barbie Girls is one of the best selling singles ever, therefore one of the best song ever. Don't mix numbers and ...
Nice to see a member of the 10 mentality, or black and white mentality. The game is crap, so that's like a 0 or 1 in any book. That makes no sense, but then again a bunch of critics skipped sense for this one.
Then there's that pure gaming comment, like there's such a thing. That's like saying a slower paced movie based on the story is less of a pure movie than a movie with explosions and cgi, etc...
It's your opinion, good for you.
"Journalists" forgot what their job was about and jumped on the bandwagon of hate. Sure it was short and maybe too much cinematic vs gameplay, but it was a really fun game nonetheless, the kind of game you await the announcement of a sequel because you know it will get bigger and amazing.
I've heard Fantastic Four got the same treatment, i.e. 2/3 of the movie is enjoyable but it got brainlessly trashed by critics.
With Battlefront, Black Ops III and Fallout 4, I think it was a wise decision for Sony to back away from big releases. They'll have a Battlefront and Black Ops bundles and these will sale like crazy (like last year's Destiny), they'll only widen the gap.
This game was part of the very first PS4 bundle. Some people probably just wanted the white PS4 but tried the game 30 minutes before reselling it. Even then, 6% isn't that bad.
Yes, of course, that means that for over a year you almost only cover the states because X1 is not well represented except for the USA. So it's like asking if the new Star Wars movie would suffer from releasing in the USA first and then everywhere a year later? Sure.
Now in both cases it depends how well it's received in that first year though. But given Batman AK sold 3:1 in favor of PS4, they're missing on a lot.
Even then, I know I have not bou...
I put Specs Op The Line next to Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls (also a game that was passed) in the list of games that made me think and feel stuff.
I can get how SO:TL could be perceived as boring.
I get it, but at the same time, everybody is a survivor in the Ellie and Joel's Last of Us, not everybody's a treasure hunter in the Uncharted's world.
I don't think they'll scrap all TLoU characters, they'll add new ones, we'll see Joel and Ellie, but they won't be there 100% of the game, that's my guess.
