Nice. The marketing alone for this is going to suck the air out of the market for the Wii and the PS3. T2 and R* need to make sure they get GTAIV back in the minds of the masses for Xmass -- and this DLC is going to be that method...
GTAIV is a terrific title, and I (and so many more) bought GTAIII: SA and GTAIII: San Andreas -- I'm going to buy this DLC for certain, and so will millions more.
The combat they showed was 1.5 hours into a massive RPG. Basically fighting bandits.
Bandits on the road == fodder in RPGs.
Later, when you own hole towns, and you've driven your enemies before you with the wailing of their women, and much gnashing of teeth, you'll surely encounter foes more worthy of respect.
Fable 2 is "15 hours" is just stupid nonsense.
If you play the game, straight through, with no purpose other than to "reach the end", you can probably do it in 15 hours.
Just like you **CAN** beat Super Mario Bros. in 5 MINUTES if you do the same.
This is an RPG. Did you hear you can own houses in Fable 2? Do you think you're going to own one of those posh places without playing the game longer than "point a to b to reach...

Millions of Gamers -- myself included -- would love another Halo game. They have been just terrific thus-far, we'd all loved more.

You can use HD-DVD players as upscale DVD players.

It will end up in TVs, Settop boxes and in very-low cost "Xbox 360" branded devices. The Xbox 360 "platform" will have a *very* long life, it is more than just a game console, it is the basic building-block of the Digital Entertainment present & future.

The PS3 has had more price cuts than the Xbox 360, and it came to market later.

Fact is that the PS3, based on present conditions, there is zero chance the PS3 will sell more this gen than the Xbox 360. Its too far in.

NEWSFLASH: The Xbox 360 does not need a HD to play games. The Xbox 360 Arcade is about CHOICE.
CHOOSE what you want.
If you dont want an Arcade, dont CHOOSE to buy one. But the FACT remains that at $199, the Arcade is **BY FAR** the best value in current gen gaming.
No harddrive necessary. It is a design victory for the Xbox 360. Multi-platform games ...

Funny, I was twice in Walmart last week. There were Wii's on the shelf, and no Arcade or Pro Xbox 360s.
Rockband 2, and the Xbox 360 are going to fly off the shelves this Xmass.
Personally, I'm waiting for the bundle. But I know many people who will not. This is going to move many Xbox 360s.
