The arcade model comes with a 256m card. Enough for the new dash board update in November. I even went online with only the memory card and it work just fine.
I have an Arcade and I can play all of my 47 360 games just fine. Why do I need a HDD if I never go online? The games play fine with out a HDD. I know some of you (the uninformed) think the 360 needs a HDD to play the games. That is simply not true.
200.00 to play the current crop of games. Not a bad deal. ...
Some of these articles are pointless. Who cares. It seems many here want one console total. No competition from any other consoles. Wow. Big business would love that. You would pay more for everything if that were the case. You would still have a 599.00 US pS3 if it were not for MS and Nintendo. Is anyone on this site not a teenager living with mommmy or a cave dweller?
I knew looking for my neighbors phone number and the address of dry cleaners made me smarter!
Now I have a use for the DC I bought at launch in 99.
No clear thinking person would never think that. You are very new to the gaming scene if you that that "official" gaming magazines are biased in their reviews. They killed Too Human in their review. Perhaps a critical thinking class?
I still have mine! It is in cherry condition still. With cutting edge rumble controllers. Of course, I still have my Saturn as well.
True, some LCDs can match the performance of any basic plasma tv when it comes to dealing with fast moving content such as sports, action movies, and games. But only the higher end ones with 120hz. Plasma still is king when it comes to dealing with fast moving content. But we are splitting hairs over the minimal difference.
One thing, about lcd that I can not get past is the off axis picture quality. Meaning, when you are not looking at the picture close to dead center. When I ...
So you have a 1080p tv that you use only for your 720p upscaled to 1080p games?
What if you do not plan on buying HD movies and only care about games? I use a 720p plasma for games since I KNOW that most games are going to 720p NATIVE for a very long time.
It costs developers too much money to make 60 fps NATIVE 1080p games.
If you are mainly using your 1080p tv for games then you are only making the manufacturers happy by buying something you never needed.
...
Plasma technology has improved quite a bit. Burn in is very hard to produce in a plasma tv. I have a 720p Samsung plasma that has ZERO burn in. And I use it with alot of games that have the HUD on all the time. Burn in was very common the first few years of the technology.
Also, most games are native 720p. Anyone that thinks that their "1080p" games they are playing are NATIVE need to go and lookup the term UPSCALED.
All HD cable is 1080i or 720p. The same goes...

Come on guys did any of you think my first post was sincere? That scenario will never come to pass.
I mean I hear that DD will take over because we will be getting 100mbps broadband for like 5.00 a month--with no caps! And my 5 exabyte HDD will only be 20.00 a piece.
Now this one will match my HD DVD player add on I bought in 11/06!
I have the AVR to decode the new codecs. This will be a must buy.
Perhaps some of you are not aware of the serious trouble the US economy is in. Credit markets are frozen for big business right now. Google it. My bet is some of you guys are teenagers living with mommy and you don't worry about this stuff. Or you live in a cave.
The keepONdreaminCAST portable
Now I can look forward to Gears of Puzzle Quest and Unreal Crossword puzzles.
Ummm sure whatever you say.
Yup. Someone responded to my first post. I just wanted to see if a sony person would respond to my "superior" comment. And respond they did.
One controller to rule them all.....
I am going indulge heavily in the user content. You guys can spend hours and hours making this stuff that can get played through in much less time than it takes to make it. Thanks everyone. Oh, and you wont see a dime for it either. But true artists are only in it for the creative process. Right?
