Here is the difference:
All models come with a wireless controller. All models are HDMI ready.
The 60gb model comes with a 60gb HDD as well as HDTV/composite cable pack and a headset.
The Elite comes with a 120gb HDD and, HDMI cable,and headset.
Only models that have a HDD attached can play old xbox games. This is because the emulation software is on the HDD. So in practice, you can add a HDD to an arcade model and play old xbox gam...

The ps2 only had Pro Logic or Pro Logic 2. That is why I never bought a ps2. 2 channel matrixed audio? No thanks. The 80's were good but not that good.
Second, high definition and widescreen gaming. Very few ps2 games even had 480p progressive scan and/or widescreen.

You might want to do some homework before you make certain opinions. You say everyone needs the HDD drive to play 360 games, Really? Strange I have an arcade model I still do not need the HDD. All the games play the same. Strange.
DLC? I will not pay for it since I have so many games (45 now) that DLC on 45 games adds up to the cost a 2 or 3 more games.
DD movies or Tv shows? Uh I have ps3 for the blu ray so I will never do DD.

Most of the games I am getting from now until the end of the year are mostly the multiplatform ones. And since my friends list is largest on XBL I will be getting the 360 versions.
The way I look at it, it is for the new people coming in at the new 199.00 price point, they will have to get the 360 versions of those games. Besides, the ps3 has catching up to do. The 360 still has 150+ more games than the ps3,

I can play ALL 360 games that do not require DLC(and that is 99.9% of all 360 games out),and this is with out a HDD. Burnout Paradise? I do not even own that title. I can download XBL arcade games to the memory card (full games) since most of them are 50mb. The memory card is 256mb.

Sony is squaring off against a company with 6 times more cash on hand (32 billion VS. 5 billion). And they want to win. We all know MS will go for the kill if Sony lets them. Name one company that has dented MS OS marketshare enough to be worth mentioning.

I did not buy a wireless adapter for my 360. The only wireless I will use is wireless N. G is too slow compared to wired. 54mbps? No thanks.
