Sony guys can rant all they want about certain games being system sellers but that will only go so far with the economy and the condition of the credit markets.
I hope Sony does a price cut. THat will increase the chance of a 149.99 360 next year and a 129.99 the year after.
Blu ray will be very cheap by the time the 720 comes out. It makes sense to add it since it has more storage and will not add to the price much. If it goes all DD I will not buy.

Good for Nintendo. They lost to the ps1 with the N64. Gamecube took third to the xbox1. Now they are back on top.
In fact, wii is winning by such a high margin that everyone knows neither MS or sony will ever catch up. So all that is left to do is jeer and scorn. I gave away my wii(not my thing) but will get another one now that the wii motion plus out and they are doing 16 player online fps with wii motion plus. That is a game I want to try.
The wii still outsells ms and sony put together. Even if it does slow down is will still sell more than sony or ms monthly. Wii has won. Its over.

I own 187 xbox 1 games. All but 20 of were purchased used. There is no way I am going to pay 187 x 50 for new games.
I know the publishers need to to turn a profit to stay in business and I want to support that, but strictly doing so would limit how many games I end up owning.
Right now I own 49 360 games. Only ten have been purchased new.
I think its unrealistic to tell the publishers to make 20.00 new titles the norm.
I do the same. I get unlimted 1 at a time blu rays from Netflix and unlimited streaming for my 360 for the 9.99 a month. I did not even need to get cable because of the 360/netflix partnership.
I watch documentarys and tv shows on the 360 and movies in Blu ray on the ps3. So I basically pay 14.00 a month for all of my media per month and includes the very robust gold XBL service.
I hate to say this but I hate the ps3 controller. I prefer the 360 controller by a huge margin. I need to get this.
I doubt most console gamers play pc games as much as the console of their choice.
That being the case if a ps3 game appears only on ps3 and pc then its exclusive for me. Same for 360.

No way was it a revision. I was one of the fools that paid 599.00 for a 60gb only to have it cut to 499.00 in July 07.
Then it goes down to 399.00 with in 12 months again.

That is what I pay for 13 months of XBL. I do the prepaid cards online to save a little.
XBL is much better than psn in many ways. PSN has xbl when it comes to the web browser ( I love watching you tube via my 60gb ps3 on my 103' projector).

The only suprise any one should have about this console war is what the Wii has done.
I look forward to a 149.99 360 next Xmas and a 199.00 wii.

This is what I was told when the price cut was announced. Look at my old posts. I do not ever see any of the know it alls that told me "price does not matter look at the gamecube" posting an any article mentioning big 360 sales numbers now.
So I am guessing price does matter?
I still remember how rude so many were when I said the price cut would make a big difference. All I was told was "gamecube was the cheapest" blah blah.
Now with the economy in the toilet Wii and 360 are the best deal around. Why pay 129.99 for a PS2 when for 199 you can get a next gen gaming system.

PSP was sold at a loss for quite a awhile. Software sales on PSP are dismal compared to Nintendo DS. That guy is clueless. I am sure when he said "stock trader", he meant "day trader" of which are a dime a dozen.

That has Dolby True HD on the HD DVD. That's high res audio. Also known as lossless. www.avsforums.com.
I just bought the Blu ray version today. PCM or True HD is lossless audio.

Neither sony or MS are completely original in what they offer. Everyone copies everyone. Its called staying competitive.
Is still a big part of this. The ps3 is selling very well given the state of the US economy, but selling well is not the same is selling "better". No game is going to make someone who is worried about money spend something they feel they do not have.
