Not bad at all. There is no way these game companies are going to get me to spend 1500-1800 a year on new software. I will rent and buy when the prices go down or wait for gamestops buy 2 used get 1 free sale.

First, when I bought my launch ps3 it did not have rumble in the controller. Sure it had sixasis, but that did not appeal to me.
With most games being multi platform, and with since I also had a 360(it came out much earlier than the 360 as you know) with an established friends list on XBL, I saw no reason to buy most games on the ps3. I have both consoles. I love my launch 60gb ps3. Its a great blu ray player and I also like it for certain games that I can not get on the 360.
My 360 gets most 99% of my gaming time, The ps3 gets 100% of my blu ray watching time.

The latest research shows that ps2 did a majority of its sales when the price was lowered to 199.00. More obviously followed as the price went down. I am sure it helped that plenty of games had been out by then as well. The same thing also happened with the first Xbox.

For those that do not think the Non Hardrive 360 can NOT play all games you are 100% wrong. Do you own both? Obviously not. I have no problem playing any game on my arcade model.I have 40 titles plus I use gamefly. If I want DLC and am willing to pay for it, I play the game on my 20gb 360.

Why do I read about what anlysts say, what research companies say, what anyone that gets paid to do this for a living says when I can come HERE and hear what the ARMCHAIR ANALYSTS have to say about one console or another.
If those same people were so smart why did they not buy Nintendo stock when it was low before the DS/WII days? They would very wealthy from that.

How can you guys say the Arcade has no value. I only have one HDTV and it is in the basement with my launch 60gb PS3 and my 20gb 360. Upstairs is a good ol' tube tv.
I just bought an Arcade model on Friday for upstairs. It is HDMI ready and came with a WIRELESS controller as well as the five Arcade games. Sure it only has composite cables but that is fine that SDTV.

I have purchased over 200 used games from Gamestop. 180 of them are xbox games. The rest are ps2 and gamecube. I even have a few 360 games. This was done during the buy 2 used get one free sales. Then I get 10% off. I check every disk before I buy it (that annoys them sometimes) and if it does not look cherry I do pass).

IMO it is not as good as GH3. It does have some Aerosmtih songs, they way it works is you are a cover band working gigs. After you do so many cover songs "Aerosmith" comes out and play on or two for each level.
It should have been a 40.00 game not a 60.00 game. But, I needed an extra wireless guitar so I bought the game/guitar back so I thought what the heck.
