I hope they eventually allow any hard drive to be used. I can make my 20gb work just fine but would prefer a bigger hard drive. Why do I stay with 360? XBL. Its the best and well worth the money.

If there are good games for Natal they will want it then... I will get one if there are some good sword fighting and boxing games.. Could be alot of fun.. and if you are in better shape than your couch potato friends you will win more than you lose because they will tire out from acutally having to perform the motions..

The problem with buying a 1080p set is that most of the gaming content is still 720p at best. Mind you many of them are UPSCALED to 720p or 1080P. Rarely is it NATIVE content.
That being said, 1080p sets have to the UPSCALE the 720p signal to 1080p. Some sets do well with that. SOme do not. SO it makes sense to buy a 720p set. PLasma is best for gaming.

50.00 a year (or 30.00 if you now how to shop on the internet) is well worth the money. I have been on PSN since launch, and although it has improved with all of the firmware updates, it is still not as robust as XBL. It annoys me to no end to not able to see what my friends are doing, not being able to do cross game invites, or any kind of invite with out stopping the game. I could go on and on.

Blu laser diodes were very new technology when the ps3 came out. The r & d was not even paid for. And then Sony decides to include in the ps3. That did hurt them. Unlike the ps2 that included dvd which was a five year old technology in 2000. Thats right five years. So sony did not have to absorb the bulk of the r and d costs with DVD unlike what they had to do with Blu ray and the ps3. Sony can only hope that they make it up in th long run. It sure has hurt them short term.

Who would buy a format that does not play blu ray? Umm people that play games. People that want to get a system that only plays games for a cheap price.
If I can buy an Arcade for 79.99 and a stand alone blu ray player for 30.00 why do I care if it can not play blu ray movies. It will still play dvds. And the 360 library by then will be almost 1000 titles.

MS quit supporting the original xbox because they could not bring the costs down. They did not own any of th rights to the internal components. They do with the 360 and as such,are in a position to get the component costs...
XBL is superior to psn in every way. But I am only one person and am looking at the the cost as no big deal because I am only paying for one person per year. If I were in your situation and had, say four people in the house to pay for every year I would go with PSN. MS needs to change it to a flat fee and 5 accounts per year for the fee.
