Starfield is a single player game. It cannot ever be in trouble.
“This is according to Ben F.’s LinkedIn profile, a former Product Manager at 343 Industries, who has stated under one of his ‘Experience’ sections that Halo Infinite has garnered over 30 million unique users over time.”
Lots of people bullshit on their resume.
The Xbox One as described during E3, 2013 would require selling game discs that were mete license keys, require an internet check-in every 24 hours to play those games, and put an end to sales of used game discs. It was anti-consumer then and it’s anti-consumer now. I like that Sony sells a separate disk drive for the PS5 digital. It’s an off ramp from digital only game downloads. Meanwhile, on Xbox, Microsoft added for ads to the home screen,

These click bait websites are shameless cash grabs.
Nice. I just used the discount to save $7 on $70 worth of PSVR2 games that were on sale. Every little bit helps.
Holy bejeebus, Xbox is going extinct in Europe.
If this ruins Sony, it also ruins Xbox and Nintendo and Apple. This seems familiar. Oh yeah, Epic tried it with Apple and failed. And if Epic couldn’t do it with Fortnite money, these dinguses won’t be able to do it with an attorney working on contingency.
How is this any different than the issues with streaming games via xCloud or PS+ Premium? What this article is really saying is that internet is lagging behind in too many areas and folks need to update their home wifi. A lot of folks rent a router from their ISP. Don’t. Buy your own, better, router, maybe a mesh network, and upgrade when you feel like it.
Misleading headline. From the clickbait article:
“On Steam, Starfield's rating has dropped to ‘mixed’ across the board, with just 48% of the 5,996 user ratings in the last 30 days being positive. Overall, of the 75,701 ratings submitted since the game's launch, 69% have been positive. In comparison, both Skyrim and Fallout 4 are sitting pretty with ‘very positive’ ratings on Valve's platform.”
So the overall user rating is 69%, which is still ...
How far back in time are we going? Remember the days of Atari 2600 when one person would code an entire game in 6 months? Good times. Though not really.
Folks here want to have some excuse for Destiny being an old game but Bungie themselves told their people that Destiny missed sales projections by 45%. Lots of old games thrive. Steam charts are dominated by old games. Call of Duty still has a sixes or player base 22 years later. GTA V is still a top 10 seller and it’s a year older than Destiny. Those games are doing things right that Destiny is doing wrong. Bungie’s management needs a shakeup.
“Xbox is already making more operating income (profit) out of revenues than Playstation”
This is also bogus. Microsoft can use profits from Windows and Office to buy game studios and then say they are an asset to Microsoft and not count the $80B cost against profits from its Xbox game division. Microsoft has been floating Xbox from the beginning, and it’s possible the Xbox division has never actually made a profit for Microsoft. To be clear, Xbox is not a separate company. ...
“Is the order , days gone , death stranding, better than gears 5 or Quantum break ?”
What a strange comparison. If comparing Sony studio games versus Microsoft Studio games, yes, Days Gone is better than Gear 5. And Spider-Man 2 is better than Starfield. And Horizon Forbidden West is better than Halo Infinite. Unfortunately, I can do this all day.
This is a bogus chart and Windows Central knows it. Always look at profit over revenue. For starters, Apple makes more profit on games than Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo combined. Just think of how this works. A store makes 30% on every game and every microtransaction with very little cost to the store. Meanwhile, the publishers, including Microsoft and Sony have to pay for salaries, rent, marketing, and servers. Sony and Microsoft also have stores, and because PlayStation has a bigger insta...
I’d be ashamed if writing these articles was my job.
Another opinion piece from someone who wishes they made games but doesn’t have the wherewithal to do it.

“ranks at 10th most played game on Xbox after almost 3 months”
In this context, almost 3 months is 2 months and ranking 10th is objectively bad when this is the only marquee exclusive on Xbox in the last 2 years and we haven’t seen 9 big games launch on Xbox since Starfield. That means Game Pass subscribers would rather play some old game instead of Starfield.
