I don’t get upset by these reviews. Too many reviews are in the 8-10 range, as if every game is a game of the year contender. These clickbait websites shouldn’t stop with 6s and 7s. Start handing out scores in the 1-5 range and then we’ll start moving the needle away from review score inflation.
Dude, it’s a joke. Switch is lumped into current gen console sales as if we’re in a three horse race between two consoles and a handheld. When Switch 2 comes, VG Chartz will have start Nintendo back at zero. It’s a ridiculous comparison.
I don’t care that this review is lower than average. In fact, I encourage it. Review scores are inflated across the board. Even the worst games will rate a 6. So lay off this clickbait website.
“Obviously not to Playstation, and you can thank the now fired Jim Ryan for that.”
Groan. 🙄
Things are going to be so different when Nintendo Switch 2 comes out and Nintendo’s market share goes back to zero.
If Miles Morales to Spider-man 2 is forever then what is GTA5 to GTA6?
Xbox 360 would never have been DOA even if PS3 launched a year earlier and a $100 cheaper. Games like Halo and Morrowind and the Xbox Live service built a strong following for Xbox among western gamers.
This is like an article from The Onion. “Area man sends holiday cards with screenshot of Zelda”.
My kids thought I was dumb for selling the Xbox 360 and buying a PS4 until Legal Marvel Superheroes dropped on PS+ a couple of months later. The game is like GTA for kids with couch co-op and a lot of humor.
At least Insomniac is putting out content with all the Spider-Man games and a Ratchet and Clank in a just a few years.
Halo 3, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 4, Gears of War, Gear of Wars 2, and Gears of War 3 were not PC first.
I didn’t buy an Xbox 360 until Halo 3 launched in 2007. Such an amazing year. That gen we had 4 Halo games. What happened?
I don’t think we need a news feed for the Las Vegas Spehere.
Spider-Man 2 has one major problem. It makes it hard to write clickbait articles.
Analysts say a lot of things.
There is no way that Disney is going to buy Sony. Disney doesn’t make hardware and Sony wouldn’t divorce its music, movie, and games business from its hardware business. Could Apple buy Sony? Probably a big no from regulators and I doubt Apple wants Sony devices that compete with Apple device. (My house has a lot of both). I could seem more partnerships with services like that promotion with AppleTV+.
This ship sailed for Microsoft back in 2008. Apple had its App Store for mobile while Microsoft was still pushing the terrible Windows Mobile OS. (If you never tried Windows Mobile, you can’t imagine how bad it was.) Microsoft has been irrelevant in mobile ever since. Now Apple makes more on games than Xbox, Nintendo, and Sony combined. Microsoft tried to claw back some market share by offering Game Pass, but that violated Apple’s terms of service and even it it didn’t, I doubt the network co...
Phil Spencer has been clear that Xbox has no hope of winning the console market. They are betting on tying up gamers with services.
“Lords of the Fallen just released and they're both perfect out the box”
Is that supposed to be /s for sarcasm?
This is a lot of revisionist history. All games back then had to be difficult or else they would be over in less than an hour. Super Mario 3 was actually super approachable because you could use the map and warp whistles to go right to the boss. And as with Super Mario World, you could farm stages for more lives. The beautify of Super Mario 3 was the abundance of secret areas and tools like Hammer Bros. suits. You didn’t really want to rush it. The lost levels were a different beast. They wer...
