Let’s boil them down to 1 thing: Don’t make this game and make another Batman game instead.
“Horizon Call of the Mountain” had more bells and whistles and has some wow moments for VR newbies. But I had more fun playing “Synapse”.
Release this collection on PS5 and make tons of money. I’d buy them all again.
Between 50% to 75% of Xbox Series Sales are the digital only Series S. That means the install base of disc playing Xbox’s is at WiiU levels. I don’t know the breakdown of PS5 to PS5 digital but the greater number of PS5s probably makes up for the difference.
“Xbox’s lineup looks even stronger this year”
Like that’s hard.
“By counting the number”
Indeed, Microsoft is all about reporting higher numbers except sales numbers.
Indeed, these game shows and presentations are only big for game “journalists”. Launch day is the big day for us gamers.
Hasn’t been true in the last 11 years so I don’t know why this year would be any different, In fact,
“if it's on pc it's not exclusive”
PC is the Switzerland of the console wars. Whether a game is on PC is meaningless.
“agenda-pushing”
I’ve seem this racism and sexism dressed up as righteous fire for decades: anti-PC culture, Gamer Gate, SJW gate, and now this anti-woke fad. The culture wars are a losing battle for these folks.
At the time, Sonic 3D and that football game looked amazing on Dreamcast. The N64, Sega Saturn, and PS1 era games were so rudimentary that you could run them on PC with an emulator. Dreamcast kicked off a generation that brought PC games like Splinter Cell and Half-Life 2 to the living room. Now we live in a world where big AAA games often run better on consoles than on more powerful PC hardware.
I just bought Resident Evil 2. Well, at least I “own” so I can replay it when I stop subscribing to PS+ which will be never.
On price, not so good.
On stand-alone performance, terrible. The PS5 is plug and play but the RTX 4080 Super needs an entire computer built around it.
Microsoft won’t get its $70B + ongoing development costs on just Xbox and PC.
Sega Saturn. Thought it was a commercial failure, it ushered in an era of higher fidelity 3D gaming.
We already know that Apple makes more profit on games than Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo combined. Why? More devices. People have them when they are bored and want to play games. For many people, the phone or tablet is their main computer.
“With an incredible $101 billion US dollars in revenue in 2022, mobile gaming platforms have dwarfed the $45 billion revenue of the PC. The console market is holding steadfast at $30 billion, no doubt being cannibalized by both mobile and PC temptations.”
Honest question, was this written by A.I.? Also, what are these numbers? Game sales alone?
Best to worst: Halo 3, Halo 2, Halo Reach, Halo CE, Halo 4, Halo ODST, Halo Infinite, Halo 5.
Please don’t mislead people. Shopping these plans is hard enough.
PS+ Extra is equivalent to Game Pass Ultimate and not base Game Pass. Both PS+ Extra and Game Pass Ultimate plans have the game library and internet access needed for on-line play. Game Pass Ultimate has xCloud streaming if your internet can handle it. PS+ Extra lets you add the monthly PS+ Essential games that you keep and can play any time you are a subscriber to any tier of PS+.

“They will all be good.”
Good like “Crackdown 3” and “Redfall”?
