One thing people keep missing here is the FRAME RATE as well. Not only does the PC version look better, not only can a decent PC run this game at much higher resolutions than the xbox 360 version a decent PC can also do it at 60fps. So lets recap :-
Xbox version = 1280 x 720 @ 30fps
PC version = 1680 x 1050 (and higher) @ 60fps

I am afraid sane people like me are in the majority MW2 has a Metacritic User score of just 2.9 whereas the user score for ME 2 so far is 9.2. The main site reviews have given MW2 a combined rating of 86 and ME 2 gets 94.
So I guess you must hear this a lot but you are WRONG. Mass Effect 2 is a fantastic single player experience with tons of content whereas MW 2 is a cheap quick buck cash in to prey on people like you that have no taste.
Oddly enough Mass Effect 2 is running at 60fps here on my PC at 1680 x 1050 so I don't know what you are moaning about. As for MW2 being better !! Hm lets see MW2 single player campaign lasts 5 hours. My first play through of Mass Effect 2 took me 30 hours and I have only scratched the surface in terms of the content ME 2 has.
MW2 is an absolute dog of a game any one defending that pile of crap needs serious psychiatric help.
Ubisoft can do whatever they like, still won't make me buy their crap. I thought ASS creed was one of the most boring titles ever devised and I won't be in a hurry to buy the second one. Especially after they stuck the middle finger up at the PC community and made us wait several months after the Xbox release.
There are some developers that really should just LEAVE the PC alone, they are doing more harm than good to the PC platform.
This game works perfectly with a mouse and keyboard there are some sections that would make me slit my wrists if I had to play them with a joypad.
OK this is a bit silly, how can a game with "flaws" get 10 out of 10 ? A 10 out of 10 game is supposed to be perfect in EVERY way. A top score like that indicates there is NO way it can be improved. That clearly isn't the case with Mass Effect 2.

I am a tired, jaded, miserable old git but even I got a few tingles in places that haven't tingled for years watching that video. The only problem I have is the fact I am not used to seeing a male Shepard. I have always played Mass Effect with a female Shepard (more pleasing to the eye) so it is odd sometimes watching these vids and seeing a bloke where my cute blonde should be.
I see the phrase "all good things must come to an end" doesn't apply to the software industry. They seem to go by a "rape that cash cow till it's skin and bones" philosophy.
I am not sure I want any more Mass Effect games after the 3rd one. However since when did this industry ever listen to it's customers. I will just enjoy ME 1, 2 and 3 then toddle off onto something else.
GFWL is free anyway so whether you have a prepaid live account or not it is immaterial. However there is a reason why MP is free in GFWL and that reason is simply, it's crap.
With each passing day I become more convinced that GFWL is actually MS's attempt to kill off what remains of PC gaming. The service has an absolutely appalling reputation that they are doing nothing about. Yet they keep ensuring major titles are using their GFWL service thus leading to people like me that actually buy games, not buying them.

I was already to buy this on steam the other day until I saw GFWL and then Securom. I can just about "ignore" securom, I don't like it but it has never personally caused me problems.
However GFWL is a massive NO NO to me, I don't care what game they release if it has GFWL they will not see any money from me. The GFWL needs to die and I refuse to give my money to companies that support that crappy online service.

@ StanLee - I personally don't care what MS does or does not do on the xbox 360 seriously I couldn't care less. What I do care about is how Microsoft keep raiding the PC to prop it's console up. Alan Wake is a perfect example a game show cased on the PC suddenly gets canned for the PC and now it is Xbox 360 only game.

@ Jamegohanssj5 I wouldn't upgrade your graphics card for this game. The PC version of Alan Wake has been canned and it is now only appearing on the xbox 360. You can just feel the love from Microsoft for PC gaming can't you.

GFWL is THAT bad the multiplayer in GFWL is a complete and utter waste of time. If you are buying this game for the single player aspect then it won't be a problem. However if you are buying this game expecting to enjoy Muliplayer then seriously stay away from the PC version.

Steam could offer a free hooker with each purchase for all I care. I was initially going to get Bioshock 2 even though I wasn't a "big" fan of the first. However now I see it uses GFWL that automatically puts me right off buying it.
I don't get it either, I usually just buy the GPU that I feel best suits me. However good ole Charlie Demerjian's dog must have been run over by the Nvidia CEO, that is the only conclusion I can think of why he hates Nvidia so much.

It means I aint getting it, any game that uses GFWL will not see a penny of my money. This service needs to die and the sooner PC gamers tell developers where to shove their GFWL infested titles the better. All GFWL does is ruin a perfectly good game.
