It will be interesting to see how the Wiimote gets supported on the Wii U Entertainment System, as it still has untapped potential for shooters and sword games. I see Black Ops 2 will support it. Maybe Disney will give us a good lightsaber game.
@kornbeaner - busting their ass making WaW and BO? You mean those games that use Infinity Ward's engine but somehow look worse than IW's games and only seem to run properly on Xbox? The best features of Treyarch's games are copied and pasted from Infinity Ward's pioneering efforts in COD1/2/4. Give credit where credit is due.
Treyarch (who used to mainly make games based on movies) owes their success to Infinity Ward, who created COD. That being said, the best talent from Infinity Ward has left, and formed Respawn, who I'm willing to predict will make an even better shooter.
Pretty much this. I hope Respawn can create a game that lives up to the standard of those you listed.
Also interested to see what comes of this 'Circle of Mana' that Square recently trademarked. Will Square do the unthinkable and please their old fans? I don't want to get my hopes up...

I've never played this, but watching Game of Thrones has given me an urge to try it. The Rogue Squadron games were among the best of last gen.
If the Wii U has more raw power than PS3/360, and also doesn't have the performance bottlenecks that those consoles have, then Nintendo will achieve great results with it. I think your excitement is justified.
Will the basic model be available in black?
Aren't these the guys developing the South Park RPG? I'd rather developers make one really good game at a time rather than two or more decent games at a time resulting from resources being spread too thin. And I want South Park to be good.
I guess they wanna have their debut PS4 game out before the PS5 comes out.
