the idea behind Spark was fantastic. The part MS forgot is that gamers are not creators on the whole. Spark should be ported to PC and given away free with every PC on windows 10.

At the end of the day its the nature of tech at the current time. The problem is weening people of the idea that a console life cycle is a decade.
that would be perfect........then it just needs third party support on a massive scale and to buy monthly exclusivity on blockbusters ...... wonder what Sony would do then??

Win? both companies showed games coming to a console near you soon. Just felt like MS showed games that actually shipped between now and then. Sony showed some megaton games that won't ship for another year at least. How many E3's will Sony get to show the last guardian at ???
Just hope for some surprises and not a bloated show about how wonderful VR will be in 3 years..
they better get a better PR company then , because the moment they announce anything the competitions Machine will kick into full effect.
having access to the IP's i have paid money for ,even after the hardware manufacturer deems there product dead, is massive. I have a massive collection of games from the last decade that my son is now able to enjoy as well as they new content. Bare in mind Sony has BC they just don't want to make it free to those who already own the IP.
activision will buy Bungie in the next 5 years....
i foresee a lot of buyers remorse after the first few weeks , I want one but i know deep down inside after the excitement dies , the glasses will sit in a box for months till the next VR title arrives.
Sounds like a cover your arse campaign incase MS goes ahead with a new upgraded XB1. Sony are in a difficult position being pushed in a upgrade so soon into the cycle. They want everyone focused on VR , a controlled victory not a forced hardware upgrade.
to make it sound cheaper than it actually is. It seems border line dishonest and lets face it considering the PS4 was supposed to have the camera bundled with it from day one , just goes to show how sneaky Sony are and how stupid they perceive they install base to be , not being able to see thru this kind of marketing.
I hope they do something along these lines ,If microsoft do it , Sony will follow and just release a more powerful version. Sony won't lead as it will give away their edge.
humans don't like discomfort , if this product makes them feel a negative effect on its first few uses , it will be cast aside. This isn't Sonys first attempt at this type of insulted viewing world , but it won't take off. They will use the PS brand to sell as many of this product as they can so they can recoup the most R& D money they can .

I had a set of Sony glasstron's years ago that gave a 50" screen was amazing lying on the couch , have to say wearing it for more than an hour did mess with my eyes when i came back to the real world. If they make it so it can run on anything then it will be another massive win for Sony.
graphics fall to the way side when you are waiting for that extraction.....
digital and home sharing on my xb1 is all i do now , then both my son and i can play at the same time , 2 for 1 is a huge selling point.
don't think kill , but I think we will see a change in what the xbox brand is . Xbox live is the future.
would love Sony to go first at E3 this year.
