Glad to hear its over 10 , just hope that its not 5 hours game play and 5 hours cut scene movies.
The thing the PS4 lost is a point of difference between competing consoles. If this had been on the ps3 , i would say it was no big deal. But the fact this means they lose exclusivity of PS2 and H1Z1 to the competition, thats pretty massive , considering how much they have spent publicizing the games for the PS4 , only to hand they over before they even got released to the competitors.
The Sony of the past is gone, this new Sony will focus on select hardware to run a IP rental service , took them awhile to get all their ducks in a row, but it seems to be working. Streaming content is their future.
Good that they are on track ! selling off SOE and their chip company must have really helped buff up the over all business. PS4 alone will not save Sony people. Next time you buy a TV dont buy a Samsung....
This will be some crazy fuel for resolutiongate if ND cant get there first real "next gen" game to hit the PS4 self imposed 1080/60 standard....
got to squeeze out the last few dollars from these titles before they give them away on PS + !!!
I dont think the money they got from this sale will go anywhere near a game studio. This cash is going into core business to keep them afloat and away from debtors...
I still cant get my head around this..... Sony must be in some real trouble if they have too sell the shop thats making games they have been touting as a Tent pole for the PS4 free to play world. H1Z1 and PS2 arent even launched and it looks like they will go to the competition.
This wont be good for the PS4 in the long run.
There is no difference in hype for this title than any other of Sony exclusives. They are hoping for another Last of US hit with the order. But I dont think they are in the same ball park.
Are Sony really in that bad shape? Seems pretty desperate to have to sell off a Name brand like SOE.
I think they have jumped the gun with this.
My concerns are , the internet is not secure and stable enough to provide a reliable service. Imagine 10 million users applying for refunds after PSN gets taken down by a lizard squad , that kind of thing would cost Sony a packet in transaction fees.
Secondly in the future the size of the current gen games will be a huge issue. If the current get is getting downgraded to 720 when streaming locally from a PS4 to a Vita then I think a...
Just drop to 900p seems to work for the xb1
Halo 5 flavoured xb1 console , like the halo 4 360 will sell like hot cakes. still lots of 360 users that are waiting to upgrade ,lots of ps4 owners looking at getting a second console for exclusives.
still not 1080p/ 60 fps on the PS4 ???? WTF ! is going on with Sony ? They said this was the next gen standard...
I think this game screams MP. I just dont think they had time. I bet we see MP in DLC or update , depending on how much money they make. I hope this isnt another game they palm off content that was pulled from the game as DLC later ....
Story looks interesting .Looks like i'll be sitting through a lot of Qt events hope the game lets you skip after the first playthrough. Not a lot of real game play shown apart from the same shot of the main character running in different streets. Is it just me or does this game scream out to be MP Co-Op ready?? Patch after launch? maybe in Paid DLC??
Stream xb1 games to any windows 10 device would be awesome.
I got both , played all exclusives on the PS4 and kept the xb1 as the primary console. Between the 2 the xb1 is the better all round console in my opinion.
starting to see a pattern here with a lot of Sony releases... at least it never shipped so there will be no lawsuits this time.
look forward to seeing if Uncharted 4 really hits Sonys new 1080p/60fps standard they have been boasting about.
As beautiful as this game looks , I cant justify paying full price for a single campaign that is only 13 hrs and no MP. This is the perfect game to show case a rental system on PS Now. Pure campaign.
