I guess there will no PS5 then... PSNow is the future. Subscription payments will be Sonys big earner.
From what i could see ,The PSTV was a product that was made from left over Vita parts to clear the stock. Sony played it smart and it never had to be a massive success , just enough to get numbers off there books. The fact it only streams at 720p shows they never put a huge amount of thought behind the actual hardware.

Having a forge mode similiar to halo , so you could make your own maps and upload them. Maybe tie it into an in game currency so you get credits for every download.
The maps were amazing but there are alot of talented people out there and it would keep the game fresh between DLC!
what about a hardware solution? Small board in a box plugs in via USb3. I remember reading about a xbox mini , would have been a sweet idea.

Dont ship games that arent finished , Sony saw the backlash from Watchdogs and Unity.
They would never take the risk of damaging a flagship IP , Uncharted needs to be breathtaking on all levels , nothing less than a 9/10 or better in every review. There is a lot riding on it.

@Ank666 whats so special about the PS4 that they needed to hide it from MS ? The consoles are pretty much identical. Sony where working on the PS Now solution as a possible successor to the PS3 , all streaming and Vita compatible. Just like the Order was intended to be. Sony didnt want a always connected Multiplayer only game , because it would not have worked on PS Now.

They still arent interested in EA Access , so xb1 users will get the Titanfall first and im guessing exclusive content like Sony did with Destiny.
I could see Xb1 selling some big numbers if Halo 5 turns out to be as good as it is supposed to be. Neither console has had that amazing system seller yet ! Halo could make impressive dent in the PS4 lead !

Great way to save having to download digital titles again, but surely you can play from the external , unless the PS system itself is limited to reading the internal drive only. Could be a security feature to help Sony from having the PS4 hacked.
I thought the PS4 had power to burn and could hit 1080p/60fps easily on any game.....
Wonder if everyone will be as understanding if Halo 5 doesn't hit hit 1080p/60 fps....
The DS4 will start to come into its own once PSNow comes to other devices. The track pad was for navigation on TVs .etc... on the PS4 it seems to be a glorified giant button. The controller was designed for use with out the PS4 in mind. Once PS Now becomes rock solid and is streamed to all devices , it will be the must have accessories when you buy a new Tv or Bluray or Tablet.
Damn thats a crazy amount ! Sony really needs this strong seller. Would be interested in seeing actual sales break down per region.
