Wait, people are "ignorant rednecks" because they have privacy concerns?
The game has loads of MMO like features, of course it's going to need (or at least recommended) to be online.
MS have created an awful stigma around online only games that they just don't deserve.
You don't have to take the box off
To have a good time
Oh no
"...allowing any game player to become a game maker"
This is being repeated around as if everyone who buys the console can go home and instantly start making games. Surely Polygon (and others) aren't that stupid to think MS will just grant dev access to every Tom, Dock and Harry who wants it.
The fact is we don't know the ins and outs of this and what restrictions MS will place on it.
MS trying for a second first impression?
With the perception of the consoles being pretty much the same in the eyes of the general public, price is more of an important factor than ever.
I enjoyed DC universe but I quit some time before it went free-to-play, don't know what it's like now.
Not sure which of those will be available at launch, maybe Sony will clarify at Gamescom.
Also, it's likely that EverQuest Next will come to PS4 since it's a SOE game. Again, maybe not at launch.
Gabe Newell ;)
"The PS3 is a Total Disaster"
Years later...

Microsoft lost me as customer completely when they announced their DRM policies back in May but, since the 180, the only thing stopping me from lining up on day 1 is the price.
I don't think it's fair to say "The Xbox One is a poorly planned, overpriced, ugly, and oversized device with inferior software..." since we've not really played any games yet.
All indications point to PS4 having the edge when it comes to multi-plat performance but it's all down to the devs in the end.
Honestly though, who thought 50% more power would give exactly 50% more FPS?
WTH? The whole article was changed, why? Why didn't you just delete this one submit another?
To put my previous comment in perspective for people reading now, the original article submitted was a Kotaku quick fire page that made it look like they were taking credit for a video they did not create. The submitter kind of pulled a bait and switch on me and now my comment seems off topic >:(
Wolfenstein has an important FPS heritage, even though the remakes don't do it justice.
"Warhawk (Warhawk, really?!)"
Well I can't say I ever played the original so I can't comment on it's quality but I'm VERY glad they did a remake. Warhawk on PS3 kept me playing online for a looooong time; brilliant game and it's successor, Starhawk, is still a party favourite when friends are round.
Wow, it looks like Kotaku are trying to take credit for a Playstation Access video. New low.
Make your own videos Kotaku, but don't slow them down to make loading screens look longer.
I wish people could remember more then 30 seconds into the past...
Motorstorm 2006, E3 before release (same developer as Driveclub):

Motorstorm after release:

there is a world of difference in quality, I think ...
@jokesonyou Please take a moment to point out in my comment history where I made any such claim.
Fanboys are so eager to paint a picture of conspiracy against their console of choice they will persecute anybody to justify their ridiculous arguments.
Please leave me out of your console war drama in the future, thanks.
Are Crimson Dragon and Fantasia launch games? GAME website says TBC 2014 same for Project Spark.
Microsoft really should have pushed to give gamers a reason to spend that extra $100 at launch.
Oh no, let's hope no more launch titles slip.
Edit: Wait my brain just did one of those thought things... If this game is delayed then is there even a Kinect only game available at launch to help justify including the thing in every console?
Agreed, I've been waiting for that since February. The offscreen stuff just doesn't do it justice. Hopefully we'll get a true look after Gamescom.
You read some 'just for N4G' crap on here a lot but this is awful... just awful.
Put down the keyboard punchingbeta.
Was the problem really with the objectification of women or was the problem that the game is Playstation exclusive?
Polygon is getting a reputation.
