Looks like a potential head to head battle with Anthem sales, depending on when the Division 2 and Anthem solidify their release dates.
Oh I agree with the quality of Fallout. I literally had a falling out with the 4th game. Couldn't get past the opening hours. My biggest gripe was with the dialogue options. What once was an immersive experience became meh, and there are just too many other great experiences to enjoy to give my valuable time to a game that doesn't feel worth it.
I'm thankful for the games they are publishing.
I reckon articles focused on this subject are prone to inciting more rage/reason to lash out than a video game that depicts violence. Sounds silly? Because it is. The logic that a video game (whatever genre or format) warps someone into doing something harmful is an excuse to take away blame from much more likely answers. Movies have shown more 'disturbing' content long before video games caught up with their graphical likeness to reality.
Besides, just about every ...
Like anything there's a threshold between enjoyment/dedication and addiction. If your friend is playing game's he hates just for a plat, then you're right to feel sorry for them.
There's enjoyment to be had in Andromeda, albeit with flaws. I'm sure if the series wasn't iced, we'd have grown to love the companions as we did in the trilogy before it.
Nifty. Catchy name.
If it's the full package, okay. If it's just the first "episode" I'll honestly ignore it all together. It's taking me long enough to remove the bad taste in my mouth with how they've gone about FF15.
Seems a tad early to pre-order...
Looks like a lot of fun!
I don't mind multiplatform. I just want an awesome game to enjoy.
The artwork is gorgeous. Also seems to (simply judging from the cover) carry a much different vibe than the first.
The surprise factor certainly is a fun aspect, however in recent years just about everything is often spoiled. There's the odd "holy!" wow moment, but normally we know a lot going in. I'd say this way they are letting everyone know the core of the show without us debating rumours and getting our hopes up too high. I imagine some little teasers or sneak peaks will be in/around the presentation.
Otherwise you're right, people will wonder what's the p...
Maybe it'll lead the opening into the Indie section (not that it's Indie) but it certainly is unique in its concept. Dreams could even reveal some "games" made within it. *shrug*
This'll be a strong showcase from the sounds of it.
Very well made points. Rage had the potential but lacked in certain areas, if those areas are addressed then the game can be one heck of a FPS. I still remember sinking a lot of time into the game (despite its flaws).
Pretty sure it's them being out of stock (sold out temporarily). I've had Detroit pre-ordered since it was first announced a few years back.
At least it's incredibly easy to know that avoiding an EA product is the sensible thing to do (if you respect yourself and your hard earned money). People will undoubtably struggle when it's their fav IP, but loot boxes have a way of eating out the core enjoyment of said games so - don't fret too much - your franchise is probably already dead.
Usually when these mishaps take place, they get rectified soon after. So whether intentional or a mishap, or just false, I don't see this being the case once word gets out (as it appears to be).
First thought: "Well that shield sure can take a punch."
Edit: Maps look visually appealing (from what's shown).
