I'm seeing a lot of articles seemingly placing a cloud on Bend Studios title, stating it needs to find its "identity."
Motorcycle + swarms of zombies that make my heart leap in my chest, kind of sets a great foundation. If Days Gone has a solid plot then this game will be one to remember.
5v5? *Eye roll*
Just about every aspect of this game seems like a desperate attempt to morph into recent success: Overwatch, PUBG/Fortnite.
I'll be avoiding this cash grab like the plague. All I see are re-used assets, everywhere.
We should be in store for an enjoyable E3.
Pretty strong tease right there. I've been meaning to get back to Prey, loved what I experienced during the beginning (just got side tracked). DLC is a nice motivator to get my act together.
I'm conflicted on this train of thought. While I agree that the decision behind the concept of the BR map is interesting (depending on how the maps actually merge together), I don't know if the history of the maps will actually be what gives CoD the edge over games like PUBG or Fortnite.
Gamers will surely form memories and memorable moments while playing in CoD's BR (depending on how BR actually operates), and some might have little corners on the overall map t...
Good! Otherwise the backlash would be real. (Also love how this video shows the results).
And that's what I love the most. I'm sure it'll be rough around the edges in some instances, but if they nail down the plot/gameplay mechanics (the choices) they've been talking about. It'll be a very interesting game.
I'm so excited for this game. I might cave and pre-order. I know. I know. But still.
Nice read. I have to agree with the author of this piece, I loved the original magic in the Zombie's experience but lost track/couldn't get into the additions in later instalments.
There's no narrative bone left in these companies. All that exists is a core philosophy to re-use assets, gain maximum profit by charging for everything and removing features that don't grant that added revenue.
They are lazy if not brilliant and cruel. They've managed to give less while having more development time. Spin it all they like, they are trading away a lot of gamers with the SP. It's a risk they are willing to take however, as the revenue stream w...

If he doesn't buy it, he is. Whether or not they care is another matter.
It'll finally feel like the proper time to do so. I've been testing the waters after each major content update, but this'll be what finally hooks me in for the long haul.
Every reveal makes me pumped.
Race tracks on planets sounds like fun.
It'll be interesting to see how much added content is in this outside of the multiplayer aspect (which is great).
If by dlc you mean charge for the campaign separately, on top of the $60+ price tag.
No. Everybody doesn't end up happy.
(Alternatively if you mean an update that's free, eh, better than nothing I suppose).
Oh don't get me wrong, it sure wasn't perfect. I personally disliked the companions and only started to enjoy their actual presence in the later portions of the game. But I did sense something there that could've been/grown if it was given the chance.
In terms of reveals, this was weak.
Disappointing.
I feel like I just read a review/preview from someone who genuinely dislikes their job of reviewing games.
