It's just nice to see them getting back on track.
Whatever will the people do?
Oh...that's right. It's just Destiny.
Well it was the best one in years in my opinion. I was blown away with joy. Usually I yawn and question the purpose of e3's relevance.
Sony needs to do what Sony does best, make them games.
Backwards compatibility would be lovely but I have my ps3 and ps4 chilling together so, it's not necessary. If making Remasters is what works, so be it. That being said, props to Microsoft for introducing it. Everyone likes the mentality of one console for all games (when same house.)
No! Dogmeat! No!!!!
So it's a hybrid formula. hm.
Doom has a place in my heart. Doom will have a place in my collection.
Well anything with Ubisoft's name attached to it, ya, be wary.
So, I sold my copy when I finished the "story." Do tell, with all of these expansions. Has anyone gotten a reason for why they are shooting everything?
Sorry, the game is a joke, not sorry.
(I am aware the shooting mechanics are wicked good and the game looks pretty.)
Every element of a game matters. If it didn't matter, we'd be playing text based games. Immersion is reflective of both story and art. Graphics are what showcase the art in its best and chosen way by the developers. Graphics also reflect around the story, giving it more tone and impact.
The degree of importance towards graphics varies depending on the experience being delivered. It also depends on the limitations of what can be done.
As the years pas...
I'll be playing this for the journey and the emotional bond. Graphically speaking, as long as it feels like a video game, it's a success.
At this point Sony and Microsoft don't need to do anything to impede Nintendo's progress. Nintendo makes it's own grown up decisions and deals with the consequences. If and when they get their act together, we can have the three way battle once more. Because right now, while they have some amazing IP's, and a good handheld, they've got nothing else really going for them.
I say this with love.
Well that's a silly thing to say.
It would be nice but I don't see it happening,
I fell in love with the protagonist the moment she began to speak and entered on screen. Gives off a strong vibe of Ygritte from Game of Thrones. Nothing to worry about here folks!
When I witnessed the Minecraft Hologram, I thought to myself, "The future is here." Of course, I know demos hide the real issues that are found out later on, like this article points out. Still, progress is being made daily. This is exciting for all gamers. It's not a gimmick, and that's what matters.
"The game, based on the movie, based on the game."
When I saw that in one of the trailers. I instantly smiled. It's Insomniac. I'm not worried.
*Throws cash at screen.*
I suppose Nintendo will, uh, regain its strength one day. Is it sad of me to say that the only reason I still look to them is because of The Legend of Zelda, Xenoblade (love the studio) and the occasional game on a 3ds? I won't be picking up a wiiU...even if TLOZ comes out.
That says a lot....seriously.
...The mask didn't bother me. My first thought was, "oh, cosplay?" I mean, that's how my mind works. lol
At this point Nintendo strives to be different. So what they do is either a hit or miss. There's little point in trying to go toe to toe with Sony and Microsoft with the same strategy when it's wiser to bring something new to the table. That being said, there's bringing something new, and just being arrogant and slow.
If they can have a consistent stream of third party support, make sure their own Ip's are delivered in a polished way, and don't do stupid ...
