Added you back. Hit me up if you see me online.
@angelic
Time will tell what they really plan for this one. It's a bit of a mystery in terms of how they are going to push/market this one.
I don't disagree that we as gamers need more big "different" games.
Its a niche style game/genre. Spending the money to make it a full AAA game probably isnt a wise investment. People will not buy it for 60 unless they know what it is and KNOW they like the genre.
A F2P model could work. Not all F2P's are bad games or are price gougers. See Warframe as a good example.
LOVE this game. Started playing on the PS4, then switched to Xbox One to play with more of my friends. The game is INCREDIBLY deep and cusomizable with all the warframes/weapons/mods.
If you have a PC/X1/PS4, give it a shot. I also recommend playing friends, as it's 5x more fun to play and talk with friends.
If you are on Xbox One and want someone to play with, i'm on every night. Gamertag: Chanogram

These articles are annoying.
Here's a novel thought: Stop telling people what to do with their money.
If I or anyone wants to spend the money to pre-order a game, we have the right. If you or anyone else doesn't want to... guess what? You have that right as well. Beyond that, stop with this sh*t.
"... preview program paying off again!"
You are correct, and i fixed it.
With a few small bugs, the preview program has been done really well, and it's nice to test and see the new features and how often they apply fixes/updates.
Oh yes, preview program paying off!
Yes, their "ONE" problem did render a huge chunk of the content essentially useless. People like me that wanted to try it out prior to buying the whole game, still can't, thanks to the server issues. The PROMISED PS+ version, is still unavailable unless i'm mistaken.
I'd say their one coding mistake impacted quite a bit, no?
This article, the one i'm commenting on, is about one specific studio: The develop of Driveclub.
And yes, i'm aware that separate people develop graphics engines and other parts of the game. I'm not retarded. Way to put your fanboy pants on and go to battle. My point, is that they should allocate MORE or BETTER resources on the back-end stuff next time. To you're other examples, they should have, and should in the future too.
I am ULTRA disapp...
Instead of pushing the "visual and technical" boundaries, how about starting at the foundation and designing/writing code that functions as it's intended (specifically, net/server code).
Are you seriously comparing wolfensetein and the evil within (two mostly linear games) to Mass Effect in terms of scope and size?? have you actually played any of those games?
Your loss on both. Judgement wasn't terrible, and Halo 4 was far from terrible. I doubt either series will miss you though.
Rumor, but a fairly safe bet, honestly.
To be fair, it's not MS that is saying this, it's VGChartz, and "journalists". MS has been pretty humble about all the sales, really.
Interesting, but considering source (vgchartz), i'll take it with a huge grain of salt. Will be very interesting to get the "real" numbers soon.
You could say that about the video game industry as a whole. The last two months have been ridiculous, and i've had to pass on games because there is just too much out right now.
Was not aware that it needed saving.
Being outsold by your competitor doesn't necessarily mean your product is a "failure" or needs to be saved. The X1 is still outselling the xbox 360 in terms of pace of sales. Also interesting to note that the x360 had no real competitor for the first year, and the X1 has a strong competitor, yet is still selling at a higher rate than 360.
PS4 is selling gangbuster right now, X1 is still selling pretty well. ...
Call of Duty 3 used vehicles in their multiplayer. Just saying. I like COD and Halo about the same, as far as multiplayet goes.
Answer: Because you are a gamer, and have the means (money) to do so. All other reasons are pointless.
