I dont know the specifics... but in one of the videos, they said they allowed people at Pax (i think) to play it with a gamepad and got really positive feedback.

this is retarded.

For some reason, reading your comment made me think of the party system...

The party system was both a godsend and a negative at the same time when it launched years ago. It allowed you to speak with friends only in an easier way, which was great, because you got to listen to less a-holes.

On the downside, you didnt meet as many new people/friends. I'm pretty sure i met more online friends (many i still game with today) on 360 prior to the party system, t...

Dumb article. Act like a jackass or break the rules, expect consequences. I wish this stuff would have been implemented a lot sooner (early 360/ps3 days). You pay to use their service, but there are still rules/standards you have to adhere to. Just the same as if you pay to go watch a show, or get into an amusement park.

Thanks to the anonymity of the internet and connected world we live in, more people feel they can act like assholes with no consequences. I'm not talkin...

AR > VR for games, at least for me (just a opinion).

The idea of putting on a full headset like oculus or morpheus sounds immersive, but it also takes you out of your surroundings. I love sitting around with friends/family and playing games. If we're all wearing a "helmet" then you lose that social aspect. In some ways/games it would be amazing though.

With AR (like the picture in the article) you get something akin to VR, but also arent com...

I guess in comparison to pretty much everyone i know that has played (and beat it) on legendary, you just have god-like abilities. Like others, I'm going to go ahead and say "sure...".

If you really did, congratulations, but that puts you in the minority, not the majority.

Interesting take on the whole situation.

I enjoyed Ryse quite a bit, especially on the maddening Legendary difficulty. Anyone that says "hack and slash" or "mindless" clearly didnt try Legendary. It's a whole different game.

I agree. Its accessable enough to be enjoyable for beginners, and hard enough to "master" for the hardcore gamers to also have long-lasting fun.

I know you werent asking me, but i can provide a little input. I have the X42s, and also got the stereo headset from this article. i think the overall sound quality from the new stereo headset is comparable to the x42s. I did notice that the lower range (bass) is somewhat distorted on my x42's, but i think that is an optical out issue that will be fixed soon.

People have complained of voice sounding a bit garbled at times when the person is using the adapter with old hea...

As Dlacy said above, the battery life is still really really good even with these headphones.

I got my titanfall controller on tuesday, and put the normal duracell alkaline batteries that came with it into the controller and played at LEAST 12-15 hours with those batteries and the headset connected the whole time.

MS did an amazing job with power management in these controllers. Giant step up from last gen in that regard.

Is there some rule or law that says they cont do a promotion within a year of launch? this is price you pay for being early adopters, of ANYTHING. I bought my 70" TV for 3 thousand dollars. 4 months later, it was down to 2,300. I didnt call sharp or go bitch about it. That is the nature of electronics and media. You buy at launch, you pay more and typically don't get any "extra" value.

Barely has 3 million? I'd like to see your source on that. They were over 3 million a month ago. I'm not arguing that PS4 has sold more, but dont pull numbers out of your ass.

Prayers? I don't think they are that desperate. Regardless of how well the PS4 is selling, the X1 is still doing OK. PS4 is just selling great.

With that said, I'm sure MS is hoping this game pushes some consoles. That's not really a "foreign" concept though as manufactures of conoles always hope that flagship titles push hardware sales.

I cant wait to see what they show at E3 in a few months.

I can only speak my personal opinion, but the more watch dogs gets delayed, the less excited i am for it. The division looks to be more my type of game, so my opinion may not count for much.

MS's entire E3 in 2013 was focused on gaming. This will be more of the same.

Hopefully there are a few games that we dont know about yet. Those are what makes these presentations worth watching.

The more the merrier. Can't wiat for the game to come out. The rest of you can stay on here and argue about consoles and resolutions while those of us who enjoy games are busy playing Titanfall. To all those like-minded, see you on the 11th!

Promotional deal does not equal price cut. This is a company trying to maximize their install base with the first "MUST HAVE" game of the generation. I think it's a pretty strong business decision. Make 60 less on each console, technically, and get the X1 into those buyers homes. You don't think those consumers wont buy more accessories and/or games and/or Live?

This doesnt have anything to do with making profit. MS is probably making more profit on X1, tech...

I have a feeling thats in reference to a beta... not the actual game. I know its just rumor, but i really think H2:A this year, and sometime first half next year, Halo 5.
