If you are buying that many games, i would assume you have the money to spend on this hobby. With that said, spend a little money to upgrade the internal HD on your PS4, or buy a nice external for your X1.

Or, sit here and complain about something that you can fix yourself. That works too I guess.

Many people won't fill up their 500gb that quickly. Why put something more expensive in and possibly have to raise the price? If you are willing to pay more for a larger internal hard drive, then what is wrong with paying more for your own hand-picked external/internal drive (depending on console)?

I'm actually fine with the options available on both consoles. I got to pick a very nice 7200 rpm drive for my X1, which actually improved load times on games significantl...

The hardware is your property, the software and services are not. Go read the EULA that YOU and everyone else signed with the console.

So you want to give them a slap on the wrist for breaking a LEGAL BINDING contract? NDAs arent a guideline, they are a contract. If they just kicked them out of the program, how is that a real deterrant to anyone doing it in the future?

How many people who are going to buy this game have any idea about the books, let alone read them? You're missing my point entirely.

CDPR has every right to make whatever game they want. Reviewers and all other people, have every right to have whatever opinion of that game they want. Who are we to say their review or opinion is wrong?

There are plenty of games I enjoy that reviewers didn't like, and vice-versa. Who cares? This review is only "c...

That's why people should read multiple reviews, and make any decisions using information from as many as you can. Sensationalizing one review is pointless. Metacritic isnt a perfect system, but it (usually) paints a clearer picture than reading one person's or site's review of something.

To your point, I agree that it's hard for one person to "make the call" for a company. Not sure what the alternative is though. They can't have 3 people playing...

Opinions, everyone has them. Reviews will always be subjective, and include opinions. Everyone's opinion is different. I don't think he was trying to stir up controversy, just expressing what he thought. With that said, he gave it an 8 out of 10... is this really that big of a deal?

Also, just because it was historically accurate doesn't mean it HAS to be in a game. If i'm making a game from the american slave era, do i have to/want to see someone being whip...

"Sony has been the flag bearer of pro-consumer policies."

Really? Cant read past that sentence. EA Access being a "bad value" for customers (when in reality it's because they dont want it to compete with PS-Now) is just one example of how they are, in fact, NOT pro-consumer. I will never understand why people champion any of these large companies. They want your money, that's it.

Pretty sad that obvious sarcasm is lost on so many people. lol Well done.

If anything, it's MORE worth the money now, with more games in the vault than at launch. It was a pretty good value the day i bought it for $30. Traded in my BF4 copy for 15 dollars which covered half the cost of the annual price. I've gotten my moneys worth and then some. I guess it all boils down to preference though.

I'm not sure why some people are so against this service. Options are a good thing, right? Especially when a new option doesnt really impact your ...

Unfortunately for the gaming community, most people would rather beat their chest or cry or argue about how much their preferred console sold or didnt sell than go actually play a game. If there is one truth in life, it's that people, as a whole, are stupid.

The other sad fact is that a lot of the same people that argue on forums like this all day are the same people that dont understand why there is a stigma to being a "gamer" int he general public's eyes. ...

There is nothing humble about your comment, which makes it all the more stupid.

Console wars are getting old. Go play a f**king game people.

There arent any games that are out that are actually built for DX12. Devs and MS has said multiple times that games have to be BUILT to take advantage of the DX12 benefits. This would obviously explain your 1-2 fps increase, as they arent testing real DX12 games. The real tests will come later this year or early next year when some games come out that are designed DX12 on PC (where we can actually benchmark them).

Sony peeps say its biased toward XBOX now, and XBOX peeps say its biased toward Sony. In reality, it's not really biased towards any side these days. But if you are looking in an article about MS and DX12, you can expect to see people talking up the POTENTIAL of what it could do for x1.

Likewise, you'll see the same the next time Team ICE from Sony talks about their next improvements.

People who think a certain site is bias are usually just too defen...

It couldn't possibly be people that just dont like this style of game, right? There are MANY people that dont like or have fun with the souls games (or any game of that style). That doesnt make them "xb one elite".

3958d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

The problem is that it's a very niche game, much like the souls games. It's gameplay will turn many off. I give From Software credit for sticking with their vision for these games, regardless of whether or not the average to casual gamers will appreciate the game.
There are games that should live in the mass appeal market, and others that should cater to specific niches. Too few of the latter, unfortunately.

It must be "xbox fanboys". I couldn't possibly be people who just dont like the game, right? I'm a FAN of xbox, and also bought this game. It's not my cup of tea (had trouble getting into the souls games), but i'm giving it a fair shake.

Try to remember that not every xbox fan is a fanboy. Most of us dont give a crap about the ratings of PS4 exclusives. I'd imagine that most PS4 fans dont care about XBOX One exclusive ratings either. Just the sm...

Might be a very good game, but not a "system seller" in the traditional sense. it's too niche/hardcore of a game to sell PS4's. People who enjoy this type of game most likely already have a PS4.

I'll take a remaster or a sequel. Very under-appreciated game. One of the few games i beat and immediately started another play-through.
