I believe the official launch is November 12th for everyone.
People need to realize that THEMED consoles are really expensive to manufacture from start to finish.
And for the record, MS has more THEMED consoles than PS4 has.
This game doesnt have multiplayer, so it should be SOMETHING single player/story. Like i've said to others: Wait for the DLC to be announced in more detail or for it to come out and then make a decision. Thats what i'll be doing.
Because only "thick idiots" or "kids with mummies credit card" buy season passes. Lets generalize everyone that does something you dont like as a negative group of people.

If you dont like the idea of season passes, then don't buy them. It's really not a complicated thing. Wait till the DLC is out and reviewed and decide if it's worth the money at that point.

MS and Sony are both selling pretty well, compared to last gen. If you dont think Sony and MS are pushing each other, you must live under a rock.

Why is this news? Its just a 3.5mm (standard) headset. Even if it is the same as 360, what has changed with mics? Nothing. The actual quality of voice is dictated more by the chat codecs than anything, and these mics do not magically force the x1 to use an old codec.
The new controllers are offering a standard 3.5mm plug now (due to popular request).

You can opt out of this one because its such a huge change. Most preview stuff is fairly stable with very minor bugs.

You do realize that speaking your mind (opinions) is EXACTLY what the agree and disagree buttons are for?
Just because someone doesn't agree with your opinion doesnt mean you have to get bent out of shape.
Now if you had just listed a bunch of facts with no opinion, then you'd have a case to be irritated. If agrees/disagrees are that important to you, N4G is probably not the healthiest place for you.
So they have a deal with Sony/Nintendo, i fail to see the "big" deal. It's a "thing", but it's not a big thing.
It's possible that Sony and Nintendo are just discounting the game and taking the loss themselves, i guess... It's more likely, however, that they have a deal with the publisher to allow them to sell these at a discount for a limited time.
I doubt Microsoft or Nintendo execs will lose any sleep over "Hoffmann" from N4G not buying their console.
Why do people think that every sale has to be black-friday level with discounts, and that everything offered in the sale should somehow be catered to them?
yes, some of these have been cheaper in other sales. Yes, i get it, not all of these games, or any maybe, appeal to you.
With that said, why do people feel the need to poop all over it? If it doesn't offer what you want, move on and wait for another sale.
