Its the nature of sales in general. No matter where you go, there will be more that doesnt interest you than does.
Last week (or maybe 2 ago?) we got Tomb Raider DE for 9.90 USD. There are good deals from time to time. Just have to wait for one that interests you.
No. Not from surface and gaming articles.
Understood. MS has only posted a loss for 1 quarter, IIRC. It's not as if MS has been posting losses for a year straight or something. It's a lot of money, but lets see how the next quarter pans out. It should be very interesting with Win 10 launching.
If they are "barely profitable" or even close to even, then they really did NOT contribute to the 3.2 bn dollar loss. Fail to see the connection here. If the hardware division comprised most of that loss (specifically xbox and surface), i'd be a bit more worried as an xbox/surface fan.
The CEO and MS went out of their way to bring up how well surface and xbox are doing. I doubt they are the culprits in regards to this loss. Lets wait to see their earnings next q...
Yea! That'll show em! Not.
So you would give all sales for square enix games to MS by not pre-ordering or buying them on PS4... and that would somehow make them care MORE about PS4 versions of games? Where can i sign up for your Fanboy Logic 101 classes?
On a more serious note: You'll be playing UC4 first half of next year, and TR will fill in that genre for you next holiday. Square wouldn't launch this game on PS4 near UC4 even if they could. U...
PS4 users shouldnt be too upset, honestly. My guess (and it's JUST a guess) is that they arent spending much, if any time on the PS4 version right now. It will be nicely optimised for PS4 in a year, and come out well after uncharted (unless that one gets delayed).
Launch this game in May/June would have been STUPID, putting it up against another high profile game in it's genre (UC4).
For anyone complaining about it having less value after a year, how ...
Hadn't really thought about it that way (in regards to why Digital Foundry is a "big" deal now). Very good point.
I actually like watching/reading digital foundry for the tech analysis, though i usually gloss over their opinions. I don't think an article by them has ever swayed a purchase decision on either platform for me.
Fallout and TR are very different games, that will appeal to a lot of different people. I wouldn't mind seeing one of the two moved a week or two in either direction, but it's not going to really impact much, IMO.
Will never work until they can bring down the latency. Even with high-end internet, the slight input lag is terrible on games that require any precision at all.
Since when do console sales have anything to do with how well a company's hand-held would sell. PS4 is selling great, so that must mean that the Vita is doing great too, right?
Also, MS's home console sales are poor? Sony Fanboy, or just an idiot? X1 is selling better than 360 in the same time span. Comparing it to PS4, which is selling faster than ANY console has and saying "poorly" is a bit unfair. Both new gen consoles are doing really well in the grand ...
Without reading the article, and just answering the titles question: NO. I love Xbox, but sony has proved how hard it is to gain traction in the handheld gaming industry thanks to Nintendos foothold. I'm not sure if anyone can take enough market share from Nintendo to make a difference.
Such a great game. I bought it full price on both the 360 and X1, then bought it again cheap digitally. One of the few games I've beaten multiple times. If you haven't played this game, or played it recently, $10 dollars is a steal.
A one week delay? Seems a little over-dramatic in the writing style for a 1 week delay.
If you don't see what the "big thing" is with that controller, then you are not part of it's target market and you should probably not waste your time reading about it.
For the people that appreciate or want the features it offers, it will be a great controller. This controller isn't geared towards 90+ percent of gamers.
First time playing gears on 360 was the "wow" moment of last gen for me.
What this shows is that Epic were masters of using shiny surfaces and texture tricks to make you think you're seeing more detail than what was actually there.
They both look good. X1 obviously has more detail, but the 360 holds up really well thanks to some smart work done by Epic. Pretty impressive that you even have to think about it.
That must be why sales are declining for those franchises... oh wait.
What exactly is "over" for them? They are outpacing the 360 sales in the same time period. I'd say that both companies are more than pleased at their sales numbers.
PS4 is doing fantastic, no doubt, but X1 isnt exactly "flopping".
Most x1 owners are slowly switching to PS4? What are you talking about?
I cant even...
Also, tell me again when FF7 remake (timed exclusive), shenmue 3 and last guardian are coming out. Oh thats right, not for a LONG time. I doubt people ran out to buy a PS4 for any of those 3 games knowing they are nowhere near close to coming out.
I don't believe they'll ever allow KB/Mouse on competitive console games. I prefer to use a controller, but i'm not stupid enough to believe that i can beat someone of equal skill who is using a KB/Mouse.
