Yeah, it's 360 only. It sucks that PS3 and PC owners miss out on this. Hopefully it ends up just being a timed exclusive.
It definitely gives me hope that other expansions on consoles can actually be alright.
Since current consoles are still just fine, I don't think there's any reason to worry about future consoles yet.
1.29 pretty much said everything I was thinking. If you don't like it, don't buy it, don't play it, hell, just bloody ignore it. People can create whatever they want. It's just a game, and it's not directly hurting anyone. There's much worse things out there in this world.
I can't say I agree with the theme of the game, but hey, I'm neither buying it nor playing it, so I really don't care. They can make whatever game they want.
The arcade stick isn't the only way to fix the D-pad woes of the 360. MadCatz makes a $25 360 controller that has a good cross-shaped pad, but the analog sticks suck on it. I bought one just for fighters. It's worth it if you have some money lying around.
Notice the lack of comments too.
Haha, last sentence of that article was awesome. You gotta wonder where all those weapons go after all.
Treyarch never really made a truly bad CoD game. It's just that their games don't live up to IW's standard. That just kind of leaves a sour taste in the mouths of fans.
Blizzard language translation: "The Starcraft 2 beta will be out by 2011."
Seriously though, I hope this is true.
Wonder if he's going to making any multiplat games in the future. It sure sucks not having a PS3. Oh well, even if I can't play the games that easily, as long as his games stay good, it's good enough for me.
I think just about everyone recognizes what the PS3 can do in terms of graphics. Just because a game can look great doesn't mean they'll want to develop to that level, though. As nice as graphics are, gameplay is more important. It all comes down to developer preference in the end, and generally, the easy way out is the better choice to them if they can still make just as much money with it.
Your last statement is what's been bothering me the most about KZ2. Everyone plays it off as the best game ever, yet none of them have played the full game. People need to learn to make their own opinions instead of having it given to them. This is why I hardly read reviews these days.
And no, I'm not saying the game isn't good, so fanboys, go away before you even say anything.
Man, this guy has to work closely with Dyack? I feel kinda bad for him.
Interesting. I may have to try this out of sheer curiosity.
They're actually Regenerators, but anyway, yeah, they're darn creepy.
And it's guaranteed to happen with just about every other exclusive this year. We all need to just move on and ignore this garbage.
Well, the lake monster is at least different, but El Gigante just decided to grow a beard.
Can't you already tell from the recycled controls and enemy animations? I figured they'd recycle a lot more than that.
Only DLC I've ever paid for was the CoD4 map pack when it got discounted for a weekend. I can't stand DLC. Full games are the only thing I buy on Live.
The water monster thing was in a short gameplay video like a week ago. Nothing new really. Looked like an interesting fight, though.
I think you may have misread.
"A perfect showcase for the game, but if you can believe it, it doesn't hold a candle to latter levels."
The author is talking about later levels, which means the full game. This means the later levels apparently get pretty hectic and there's a lot going on, causing an occasional stutter. No big deal. No game is perfect. As long as the framerate doesn't tank, I don't think anyone but a fanboy would complain about the occasional...
