Because some people don't know how to use objective titles for their article submissions.
Yeah, I gotta agree with you on that one, but it was still fun to play when it first came out.
I just can't wait until people stop comparing everything to Killzone. "Mom, my bagel looks more realistic than Killzone!"
"Just eat your bagel, Jimmy..."
That's generally how it goes on this site. I wasn't going to comment, because I didn't feel like listening to it, but I just had to agree with you on this one. Uninformed comments are terribly rampant on this site.
Interesting. I might have to try this out. I loved Shadow of Chernobyl when I got it for $5 on a Steam weekend deal.
I've only seen Silverlight used once, and it may have been on Microsoft's site. I can't recall. Flash isn't going anywhere.
So if nobody had hopes for this game, where are all the fans on this site that would defend the game to death? Sure, maybe the media was skeptical, but the fans sure weren't (minus 360 fanboys). Fans are all that matter in the end anyway. The media doesn't buy the game, we do.
Maybe it overcame the odds by some of the media's expectations, but the game is what fans expected.
No wai! None can handle teh powaz of Doom 3!
I just hope one of them is KI3.
I get so bored online in SF4, because all I fight is Ken, Ryu, and Akuma >.<
Props for liking Guile, though. It's a rarity. He's my personal favorite, and no, I do not turtle with him. Turtling is for pansies.
Personally, my issue with KZ2's graphics is the colors. Crysis is a vibrantly colored game. The brown and grey of KZ2 leaves a sour taste in my mouth, just like all other games that stick to such a dull pallette. It does work well for the atmosphere of the game, but I still prefer colors.
Anyway, people make way too much of a deal about crisp graphics. Art direction takes preference over graphics to me any day.
I'm sure you played the game, too...
Just because 50 Cent is an idiot doesn't mean the game has to be THAT bad.
Zoey is fat, Louis is white, and Bill is young? Just doesn't seem right.
Ignorance is bliss, eh?
This game can't come out soon enough. I just hope the game doesn't turn into the rush, grind, rush, grind, rush, grind cycle it was in Diablo 2. It was so fun to play properly with friends.
Gotta wonder how stuff like this gets approved. Big "no duh" moment here.
Wait a second, you traded in a console exclusive and don't have massive disagrees? Maybe I was wrong about this site...
But yeah, most games that I buy at full price are either lengthy games or have good multiplayer offerings. Games like CoD4 and Halo 3 show that good multiplayer can keep a game fun for well over a year. And then there's games like Counter-Strike, but that's a different subject.
My favorite thing about GW is the diversity in the classes. In WoW, there's like 1 or 2 applicable character specs each for PVE and PVP. In GW, each class can do so many different things that can succeed. It's all about careful planning and experimentation. Sure, there's always the stock builds you can copy from other people, but there's just something so satisfying about making up your own strategy.
Some people think SE is the only company that makes JRPGs it seems.
Some of you people seem to forget that the game is developed by tri-Ace and only published by Square Enix.
