Bleh, more of this crap? None of the consoles are failing if you ask me.
I do really like how your character moves between the cover in this game, but it just doesn't control as fluently as Gears.
Kill.switch still holds the crown for my favorite cover system, though.
They're one of the few companies that have yet to disappoint me, so I'm really looking forward to Rage.
While I admit that there's really nothing wrong with sticking to the RE4 formula, I wish they didn't reuse some of the enemy animations from the game. That's sticking a little too close to the formula.
Anyway, it won't change the overall experience, so no worries. Friday can't come soon enough.
Heck, companies usually don't encourage opening up their products and altering/fixing them yourself. It's nice to see Sony helps out the people that know what they're doing.
Hah, I remember the Menace Beach one. Funny stuff.
Or maybe all the black people attacking a white man is them being racist?
But yeah, this dumb argument just needs to go. This isn't racism.
Yeah, I hear you on that. It's a different world of RTS. I've never been a fan of base management, so this is right up my alley.
Really? Death Toll always seemed like the easiest one to me. It's also my favorite map, though.
The Wii has a fair amount of good games, but once you're done with them, unless you have friends to play local multiplayer with, there's not a whole lot to go back to. If there's one thing the Wii is lacking, it's games with high replay value without local multiplayer. I can't really blame Nintendo for focusing on the casual market anyway. It's making them bloody rich.
The first game was far from perfect, but it was darn fun with a friend. I'll be looking forward to this one.
Yeah, I had the same first impression. I was so shocked that I had to look back to be sure I didn't miss something important, and obviously I did.
I've been a PC gamer much longer than a console gamer, and I was going to start a riot if they missed all those good titles, haha.
Yeah, I hope I don't regret it either. I definitely got my money's worth out of RE4, so I hope this turns out to be the same.
Yeah, Tom Clancy games have really lost their identity, eh? They're trying too hard to appeal to the masses now.
Mediocre score doesn't mean a game can't be fun. If you had high hopes, give it a rent and see if you like it. Heck, if you haven't, at least try the demo.
Hm, TeamXbox really seemed to like this game, giving it an 8.4. I'm surprised to see such a low score out of IGN.
I thought the game was pretty fun, though it was no sim. Sims don't appeal to the masses anyway, so it's hard to expect them out of big developers. This is where all Tom Clancy games are going these days. It's a shame, because I sure loved the sim days of the first Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games.
Definitely no obliteration here, but at least Forza has done well for itself. By all standards, it's done great with both games, but it's no giant like GT.
I'm not a racing fan anyway, so I've never played either series much. I did enjoy smashing my car to oblivion in Forza, though. Screw turning! Head on into the wall mates!
Well, just counting impacts on the gaming industry itself, I'd say the list isn't all that bad. I think there should be more factors than just that, though.
Also, I really don't understand why Mario Kart is on top. Good game, but there were a lot more influential games.
Well, the reason the games you mentioned is that they're not fitting for the list. It's the top 50 console games. You mentioned a lot of great PC games, and if this was a list for all games, they would definitely fill the top spots.
I really loved the counterattacks with the knives on the demo. If it was in third-person, it wouldn't be nearly as cool.
