@iceman06: True that. You get a bubble!
Backwards compatibility was another awesome feature that went the way of the dodo on PS3s that probably would have stuck around if higher management wasn't so focused on profit that the gaming and the customers suffer.
I don't so much think they shouldn't be able to make a profit or be business oriented, but rather I think they shouldn't be so focused on it at the expense of the experience and value that the customers receive.
I just bought a Wii. ;)
I think MM does great work, and LBP is a great starting point for that type of game, although it does have its flaws. In a way it is kind of nice to see Sony officially snatch up MM. In the back of my mind I figured it might happen eventually.
I think I'll pass for now. I'm a bit burned out on Western RPGs after playing and reviewing three of them in a row. ;)
Babies are just creepy in general. Except my niece, she's cute. ;)
Indeed, the technical issues are going to come down to each person's experience. But, I've never had a game freeze up my PS3 before, and that bothered me, not just from an "OMG my $300 system froze" standpoint, but from an immersion standpoint, as well, because it happened at a very intense moment of the game.
But, obviously if you didn't experience those technical issues, you wouldn't have that problem. Still, it is dare I say the only PS3 game that has ever done tha...
Yummy, yummy GoW3. Good preview!
I love Jinx gear, I own a few shirts from there, maybe time to buy some more. ;)
Never been much of a sports fan myself, but if I ever did play them, this would be looking pretty good. Nice article!
I really should have played Starcraft, now I feel all left out.
Mmmm...gratuitous blood and gore, who can say no to that?
So looking forward to getting my hands on this game...
If I could get past the FPS aspect, I might enjoy these titles. I did like the atmosphere of the first one, but that was about it, to be honest. Just not my type of game.
Yeah, got a question about pre-order goodies on the list!
No matter how much I would try with either of those games, I'd still be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off wondering what the hell I'm supposed to do. I'm not an FPS player.
They are indeed totally amazing! If the chance arises, I will ask them about the fabled Persona 5. I'm willing to bet they won't make it out of either of these demo sessions without dealing with that question anyway. ;)
Arcades should never have gone away in this part of the world...
It is nice to see our progress measured in a way. However I'm not huge on going out of my wayto get insane achievements that may cause me to do damage to my console, TV or those around me.
I agree with you! I know it must hurt the people who think I'm some sort of Microsoft fanboy, but I do think Sony has some of the best exclusives around, whether they're my type of game or not. They're most definitely one of the biggest names in the gaming industry and they probably always will be.
Hell, Sega is still a big name in the gaming industry even after their console got overrun by the PS2! Sony is far, FAR from that point. I never said otherwise. There are so many ...
