With certain genres story could take a back seat - FPS titles, sports and racing (obviously). But I think if a game has a hugely important and strong narrative, the challenge should be kept in check so as to allow a frustration-free experience.
Story > Challenge for me, but actually a happy medium is the best case scenario.
I don't know, no matter how much Apple tries to get into the gaming space, the iPhone just seems like not the best gaming device...for me personally, anyway. There are some decent games on the platform (Plants vs. Zombies ftw), but overall...meh.
Definitely going to give this a shot when I get some free time.
I tend to think that they can be art, most definitely. However, just like other forms of art or expression, everything is subjective, including the answer to the big, overall question, "Are video games art?".
I don't know how interested I would be in this...I'm sure it is some easy achievements though. ;)
"Foxy female", I'm all for that. ;)
This game looks like a lot of fun from what I saw there at PAX.
I never played Halo 2. D:
It was surreal being in that room seeing all those SB controllers set up. Very surreal.
It is likely something like this would go over much better in this day and age, as mentioned. I know I'd be interested. ;)
I'd be more than happy to pop my ME2 disc back in my 360 if they come out with more content like this. ;)
Looks good.
Makes it sound interesting, even to me, and that is saying a lot. ;)
Good ol' EGM, I subscribed to the new one out of nostalgia. I hope it lives up to what the magazine used to be.
Delays aren't fun. This title looks interesting.
Heh, Infinity Ward. You know, some games could actually benefit from a bit MORE time in development.
I too would haves loved to experience this. There's always next year!
Don't knock cell shaded graphics!
Good interview, but to be perfectly honest, this game doesn't excite me in the least.
