Well, to play devil's advocate here, they don't have the time to play every game that someone may inquire about. That would just be ridiculous. I've had this same thing at my GameStop, but I do realize that they have a life, too, and just like everyone else either doesn't have time to play a game or just aren't interested in playing a particular game we may ask about.
On the other hand, there have also been several instances where they have given me some i...
Actually, I disagree. The first two expansions were nice and all, but Cataclysm feels like a whole new game. As you heard in the podcast, Al and I have been playing the beta quite a bit in the last week or so. I really think this expansion will revitalize the game to some degree - a game which has been stagnate, in my opinion, during the entire Wrath of the Lich King expansion. It just feels so fresh and new, especially at the lower levels, that I think it will reignite a lot of people's ...
Looks interesting.
Now that you mention it, it kind of does, actually. Although I think Borderlands' graphics were pretty sweet, very stylistic, just not realistic. ;)
If I based my purchasing decisions on review scores, I wouldn't have played most of the great games I own, especially those in my favorite genre, JRPGs.
Yeah, comparing this to ME seems like an insult to Bioware.
Mmmm...Castlevania.
I can't wait to get my hands on this! If they fixed the issues that made me quit FFXI, this will likely be the perfect MMO for me.
Great review, although I've never been into the Lego games much, and I detest Harry Potter for some reason.
The Microsoft conference was "meh" overall, but I was actually a bit impressed with the Kinect stuff. I was thinking of my niece and nephew when that young girl was demoing Kinectimals.
Also, the fitness game from Ubisoft seems to be, from what was shown, the best of the "fitness" genre to date. At least it seems to make you move more than Wii Fit and that fitness game from EA for the Wii.
I'm still reserved overall, but it wasn't ...
This is gonna be sweet. I can drop cable TV altogether.
Will you be able to tickle Milo?
I think I prefer the days before motion control took over.
Final Fantasy XV shall be announced. Make it happen Squeenix! ;)
Good points, and I agree. Much of what was in the video was exaggerated for comedic effect, as well.
I agree with you, for the most part. I do wish there was more to do. I also find it hard to believe that adding towns and more traditional side quests could not be accomplished.
While I think the game was fine without traditional towns, because of the narrative itself (while running for your life being chased by the military, you aren't likely to have the chance to stop and talk to random people in towns or steal stuff from chests in people's houses), I do think there...
This video is hilarious, even if you loved the game.
I haven't played the PSP version, but I have a feeling this may be something that translates better on a console/big TV. I dunno, I'd rather play a kart racer on something other than a handheld, I suppose.
Never really been able to get into the MGS franchise (although I did play MGS4 only because my brother is a huge fan). That being said, the preview video could hook anyone. ;)
I'm right there with you. There are certain bonuses I like. Two of which are soundtrack CDs and art books. But the odd and end interesting bonus, like Junpei's hat from Persona 3 Portable is pretty awesome, too. I love Atlus.
