Great review, but not my type of game, unfortunately.
I can't pull myself away from this game, it's like Rockstar put subliminal messages in the game to keep me playing.
This is another in the long list of titles on my "to play" list.
I remember this thing! Never had on though.
I just played some Civ IV last night. Still playing it, still looking forward to Civ V.
It could also just indicate a change in business models for the game from when we heard that it was going to be free of a monthly charge. But, who knows.
@Karum: Well, the iPhone itself was pushing the boundaries of what we thought a mobile device could be. Granted, it has not kept up, as far as features go, with other, newer phones (although some of that will change when they release the next iPhone and OS4), but you still can't deny what it did for the mobile lifestyle in the last few years.
The iPad did the same thing as far as mobile computing goes, and we'll likely continue to see that grow. Although, I do agree w...
If this is at E3 somehow (or even announced the same time as E3, yet separate - Apple is like that), it will probably be the biggest E3 week ever.
In a way I agree. The vast majority of games on Apple platforms now (iPhone/iPad) are aimed at the casual audience. Do you think the people who are introduced to gaming with Fruit Ninja on the subway to work every day for a few minutes are going to be the type who turn into hardcore players and actually purchase a console to match their phone?
I can see a few doing that, but not enough to make an Apple console successful.
They would have to sell the console t...
"Natal Will Cost Too Much"
Depends if the $150 price point is true or not, I s'pose. ;)
Well, I guess I'll be avoiding this title. Although, I'm not big on these "time management" games anyway.
I don't have any, but my sister still has every paper box all her SNES games came in. It awes me every time I see them.
Yeah, the game has only been out for two days, just wait, we'll see a lot more.
Now that I have a Wii, I'm looking forward to trying this out as soon as GameFly sees fit to send it to me.
While in some circumstances video games - just like movies, TV, books, whatever - can have influence in people's actions and thoughts, it is never the entertainment medium alone that causes the real violence. It is almost always the result of a combination of factors, mostly comin from a person's background and experience that actually pushes them to commit the violent act. Video games, or any other entertainment-related stimulii can never be blamed in and of itself with a blanket sta...
I agree. However, to the developers they do. Everyone wants to think their title is with the price, even when it is not. One of the only publishers I see doing what is right is Atlus. 3D Dot Game Heroes is $40, and you know what? It probablyhas more value than half the crap going for $60 new does.
Mmmm...pokemon meats, my fav.
It's funny because the way it is written is so deadpan, like there's nothing wrong with it.
Now I must play this game!
Game reviewing, always a touchy subject.
