Never really set the bar? Dude how old are you? The N64 and Gamecube weren't exactly the weakest consoles of their respective generations. The PS1 and PS2 however were the weakest and those systems were freaking fantastic.

Yes and look how well the Vita turned out for Sony, the thing is freaking tanking right now and that's not good for Sony. I honestly want the thing to succeed and I'd love to see what developers can do with it (Tearaway is an example of a excellent looking game that seems to take advantage of the Vita unique features).

Funny thing is, you always talk about Microsoft's and Sony's new consoles on Wii U articles, yet you are nowhere to be found on articles that actually talk about those consoles.

Everyone can call it whatever the hell they want whether that would be "Next-gen" "Middle-gen" "Current-gen" "rubbish" etc. If it has the games that I want(which it most likely will) I'm getting it. Same goes for PS4 and 720.

If this article is to be believed Sony should have launched the PS2 in 1997 and launched the PS3 in 2004, and Nintendo should have launched the Wii U in 2008, the 3DS in 2006. And considering this writer's logic the 4DS should have launched by now if I'm not mistaken.
Seriously guys. Given the way history has gone I think the Wii U is gonna be just fine. PS4 and Nextbox are going to be fine as well. Why can't we just enjoy video games and put petty fanboyism aside...

Hope they can get another all-star team to do the soundtrack. Yoko Shimomura, ACE+, Manami Kiyota and Yasunori Mitsuda created one of the greatest soundtracks of all time with Xenoblade Chronicles.

That's what they originally were. As a matter of fact, when they first changed techTV to G4tv their tagline was "TV for gamers" and it was pretty true to that, we had shows like X-Play, Cinematech, Code Monkeys, Game Makers, Icons, Arena, Filter, Cheat etc. They were good until they became the cesspool of everything bad about television that they are today.
Glad to see he's a good sport about it. Also glad that PS3 is seeing much better days now since that time.
Funny how some fanboys will be more upset by this than the freaking President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios himself.
