Well if there is anyone that knows how to get the most out Nintendo systems it's Nintendo themselves. Well I hope it results in games that not only look better but also play better, if so, I'm all for it. I just hope helping other developers doesn't take away from the efforts going into Nintendo's own first party offerings.
I think what they mean is that this week in overall Nintendo hardware, meaning 3DS,DS,Wii and Wii U combined, Nintendo sold 1.2 million units. 400,000 of that 1.2 million sold were Wii U units.
Not a bad start, but as we all know the first week sales of a system (whether good or bad) are no indication of how it will do in the future. How the system keeps that sales momentum going along with a steady flow of good games will determine it's success.
That being said I'm glad the 8th gen of home consoles has finally started. Can't wait to see what Sony and Microsoft are cooking up as I believe this gen is going to a be a quite an interesting one. All the b...
Wow, you guys are taking a "Parody" article seriously huh?
It's kinda sad that even when someone is joking, it's so similar to the behaviour of actual fanboys that we actually take them seriously. I guess I can see things more clearly since I'm pretty much sick of this idiotic console war and the fanboy bullcrap that comes with it.
@Jinkies
I dunno, some of the comments that I see on a daily basis really do make me believe that here is a "joke fest" sometimes.
Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, 999, The Walking Dead, Ico, Xenoblade, Ghost Trick, The Ace Attorney Franchise, Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, FF VI, FF IX, FF X, I know I'm missing ALOT here
A lot of these games made me feel a wide range of emotions, the fact that they can make me feel things says a lot about the video games as a story telling medium.
Oh maybe I'm just over emotional...
That's definitely a solid list there.
Mine's would probably be
Xenoblade
The Walking Dead
The Last Story
Journey
Resident Evil Revelations
Kid Icarus Uprising
Okami HD (I know it's technically not new, but come on it's freaking OKAMI!)
Max Payne 3
Still have yet to play but really want to:
Dishonored
Halo 4
Gravity Rush
Mark of The Ninja
Sine M...
Can't say anything that hasn't already been said. This is a fantastic deal!
Actually the more I read it the more I realize that not only is it not funny, it's just a flat out terrible comment, probably the worst one I've ever made. I usually don't make bad comments like this. But hey, we all have our off days right.
What I'd give for a delete button right about now... :(
I know it's not funny. I just wonder why we have to always argue over stupid shit instead of just enjoying gaming.
Sony fanboys answer: "Yes, yes it does."
Nintendo fanboys answer: "No, No it doesn't."
Sony Fanboys: *Glares at Nintendo Fanboys* "hurrrr"

Me: *facepalm* "How did we come to this?"
Well considering that every other GTA game has come to PC (with the exception of the portable entries) I don't think a PC version will be that far off. We may just have to wait a bit for that version though.
I don't believe there's any danger of censorship if Rockstar brings it to the Wii U. Look at GTA: Chinatown wars, that was a DS exclusive(obviously it's no longer exclusive)and it had a whole side of it where you could run a drug dealing business. Also look at Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, Nintendo published that game and it's more violent than ever before.
I believe Rockstar won't feel the need to censor themselves should they bring GTA V to the Wii ...
Wasn't there news that they recently got more stock?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you say you weren't going to buy one anyway? And if so, why should you care about how much consoles are manufactured by Nintendo?
"No major games on 2013 for 3DS"
So I see you somewhat conveniently forgot about Monster Hunter 4 and that remake of Dragon Quest VII(which btw is Japan's best selling PS1 game of all time). What about Ace attorney 5 or Luigi's Mansion. Plus I'm sure their will be more game announcements in the future for 2013 releases, same for the Vita.
Is IGN even giving Wii U ports new scores? It seems to me like they're just taking the old review of the previous versions and adding a column at the bottom about the Wii U differences. The score should reflect what the new editions bring to the table. I find this to somewhat lazy on IGN's part.
Let's be honest here, has ANY console had a good launch lately?
I actually don't recall sites saying Vita would be a failure before it even launched. Actually I recall most sites praising the device saying it would succeed. I don't think anyone could've predicted it would be doing as badly as it's doing in Japan at the moment. Here's hoping things pick up for it though as I do plan to pick up one next year after a price drop. It'll go quite nicely with my 3DS.
Best comment I've read all week.
